Recently purchased a 2023 CX-5 from Christina and couldn’t be happier. Besides it being an amazing vehicle it was dealing with her that sealed the deal.Originally, I went to a dealership closer to home but was not impressed by the attitude I received. So I opted to go to another dealership. Off I went to Kanata.My husband and I walked in, was pleasantly greeted by Christina… and in less than an hour I purchased a new vehicle!I sincerely appreciated her honesty, knowledge and overall “no pressure” approach. How refreshing!If you’re trying to decide on a place to buy a Mazda then Kanata Mazda is the place to go. More specifically, you have to deal with Christina!

I have to say, I was quite unsatisfied with our service May 11th. First of all, there was a mix up with our car and another car-a CX-3. (ours is a CX5 SUV). Despite the fact that I told the person I was dealing with that THAT was our car out in the parking lot, NOT the one they claim was ours in the garage, he kept insisting that our car was the one in the garage. We were getting summer tires put on and the other car was getting all seasons, a big difference. Once that was sorted out, I was told it would take 45 minutes to change the tires. After 45 minutes I asked if our car was done. It hadn't even been looked at!!! And I was told it was going to take ANOTHER 45 minutes! I was none too happy about that.They told me the grinding sound was NOT the wheel bearings, they made it quite clear it was not the wheel bearings but the tires and that we needed all new (4) tires. That was at a cost of $1,500.When I went to pay for it, I was told everything looked fine. Yet, when I went to pull out of our driveway the next morning, the grinding noise was still there!!!! I sent an email to Kanata Mazda about this on Friday May 12th. I never received a response to my email OR a phone call. So, am I satisfied? No!Christine Woodley

The financing application on their website is misleading. You are led to believe the process can be done online from start to finish. Being an hour away from the nearest Mazda dealer I was happy to see the Kanata Mazda Online Vehicle Purchase" option. After entering your personal information it is forwarded to a salesperson who then advises you must visit the dealership. I have no concerns about being approved and have already test driven the two models I am interested in."

Please stay away from this dealership.I came for a used 2016 CX-5 that I really wanted to buy and couldn't go on a test drive. The sales lady (Christina) wanted to come with, when I asked why, she mentioned car theft. I was with my friend and we had parked outside. Also, you get to have a copy of my license with my address. Bad policy: accompany those who ask, find better ways of protecting yourselves and trust your customers. I felt like a potential thief, instead of a potential customer, so I decided to leave immediately.I need to mention the horrible customer service as well: I could've used a bottle of water, It's hot out here right now. Also, given that you plan on coming along for a test drive, let me just have a few minutes with the car without you hovering. Don't need the extra pressure. If I have questions, I will find you and ask. Some customers need the extra attention, yes, figure it out.

I have honestly no idea why this dealership has such high reviews. They definitely don't deserve it. Every time i go there i end up leaving feeling angry and frustrated. The people here always seem annoyed and hostile and everyone i've interacted with has been very short and condescending with me. Their sales and service are very inflexible with their products, there's no pickle giving here if you understand what i mean and i find their prices here are borderline highway robbery. If you're making $60,000/yr or under you aren't welcome here.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Kanata Mazda and was very pleased with the experience. The vehicle needed a few cosmetic repairs after purchase and Christina and the team were quick to respond and looked after everything in a timely manner. Even though this was my first time at Kanata Mazda I felt I was treated as a loyal customer, and that is always appreciated! I would certainly recommend Christina and the Kanata Mazda team.
