I was able to rent a kayak on a walk in. No waiting, professional and friendly service. Me and my friends had a wonderful, very scenic 8.5km loop, starting at the quarry with the impressive Casino fountain cascading down on us.We made the decision to keep going towards the river, which was choppy and slightly challenging but very doable. We then headed out towards the right to the abandoned remnants of a huge wooden boat that sticks out of the water like the ribs of a dinosaur. We continued through the lily pads and almost seemingly untouched eco system thriving all around us in the shallow waters.Spotting a blue heron that took flight as it heard us go by and many red striped turtles sunning themselves on rocks and deadheads. As we approached the last bridge to go under, a quick and easy portage was in order and we then paddled our way directly straight ahead of us to return the kayak at Lac Lemey rental area. What a day:)

My favourite place to rent a kayak or a SUP board for a short ride. The staff is very friendly.

Nice and convenient place to rent kayak, canoe or ski gear, etc for outdoor activities at the Lac Leamy. There is also a restaurant right next, with good food choices to complement the day.

This place is extremely useful for summer activities and superb family time.Except the poop infested ground.Recently after multiple visits, this place went down hill.No management seems to be found, meaning it is controlled mostly by young employees .While I have no issues about this situation, there seems to be no improvement in the way you actually reserve" services (note that you cannot reserve)There is 2 stations

Canoe, SUP and kayak rentals are available for Gatineau residents and non-residents. $16 for 1 hour with the resident card or $20 for others. Includes safety vest. Leamy Lake can be quite busy with motorized boats during the weekend which can make navigation tricky. Service was OK but somewhat chaotic as the indoor staff can be out of the loop with the outdoor staff. Overall pleasant outdoor experience within city limits.

Nice beach and at the other parking (near St-Eloi resto) you can rent canoe, kayak and paddle boards (1 hour free if you have the Gatineau resident card)

On of my favorite water sports locations in Gatineau. It’s peaceful with free large parking lot and also has a nice bistro on site.
