What a massive waste of time! For 4 months I have been trying to hire Dan for a reno job. He seemingly can't remember when people have hired him and he has accepted that job. Doesn't show up when he says he will. 4 weeks ago he was supposed to come by and finalize the details. Didn't show up, call or email. Follow up a week later via email and he says I haven't forgotten

We had our upstairs bathroom redone and our faucet replaced in our downstairs shower in 2013. We were happy with the job in the upstairs bathroom and have had no issues with it.The downstairs shower had been fully functional for 3 years prior to the faucet being replaced but we wanted to put a better quality faucet in. So we bought a Moen. The drywall in the adjoining bedroom in the basement was opened up to get at the faucet for replacement. Prior to it being repaired I noticed a drip coming from the new faucet. I mentioned it to the worker and was assured it was fine. It was not.Fast forwarding to 2018 we have $5000 damage and have been living with mold behind our walls for the past few years for sure. I did speak to Dan who explained it was well past warranty in terms of compensation. I was not looking for compensation but I did want an explaination and i was told that the faucet must have failed over the course of the 4 years it was used.I explained that I noticed a drip from the day it was installed and was assured they would not have completed the work if that was the case. I have no recourse on this matter but will say again, that I noticed a drip from the day it was installed and 4 years later, living with mold behind our wall for that time we have to incure a $5000 expense to repair and replace a shower that was fully funcional prior to the faucet being replaced.I'm not 100% sure if the person who replaced the faucet was a licensed plumber but in the future I will insist on any work we get done to be completed by a licensed tradesperson.

Dan the owner is unreliable and unprofessional. Told us he was willing to build a shed in our backyard and that he would start shortly. Waited several weeks and after not hearing from Yates renovations called Dan and left several messages over the course of a few weeks. He never responded to any of my messages. Stay away from this guy

Dan did our work (8 windows and a custom door) and not only was he friendly, reasonable and professional, but he also kept good communication and did a fantastic job. We're happy we used him. 100% would use again and will recommend.

Dan and his crew did a full house window replacement 3 months ago, surprisingly quick and with excellent craftsmanship. Workers were friendly and respectful. We were 100% satisfied and would recommend Yates Renovation Ltd to family and friends.

Dan Yates completed my front door and screen door replacement that I purchased through Lowe’s. Due to Covid there were a few delays along the way, no ones fault, but the project is now complete and looks fantastic. I would highly recommend Dan and his company. Professional work done right!

Cliff and Luke came and replaced our back and front doors. If their amazing customer service wasn’t enough, the doors are perfection. They took time to tell us about them and about the warranties. Can’t recommend this company enough! Pure professionalism and great people!

We had two exterior doors installed in November by 2 very professional contractors from Yates Renovations. The detail craftsmanship which included adding all new trim and an extension to lift the one door higher so that water and rain would no longer enter was exceptional! The contractors were professional and hard workers and their quality of work shows in the amount of detail they place in our doors. They started early in the morning and finished by 4 pm. They ensured that the space was clean and tidy and inspected the doors before they left. I would highly recommend Yates Renovations and I’m keeping them in mind for some windows needing to be replaced this spring. Thank you for a job of excellence.

Just want to let the owner know what a great job that Jim and Steven did for us today. They were very efficient and the workmanship was excellent. We are very happy with the out come. Would recommend this company over all, as we had many quotes and from the first meeting till completed we were extremely happy with everyone involved
