My wife and I had a wonderful time with Tim during the observatory session. Although it was cloudy in and out, Tim did his best to be as informative as possible and shared tons of details about our universe. Really eye opening experience about his story and resiliency which he shares with everyone. Most importantly we could see the Milky Way with our naked eye there by just looking up! Truly wonderful experience we recommend to everyone!

Tim & Amanda were excellent hosts for our visit to the observatory. We stayed in the family bubble and were amazed with how clear the stars were through the clear plastic ceiling - it truly felt as though we were laying outdoors! The presentation and opportunity to try out the telescopes were awe inspiring - Tim is a fantastic person with an important story and message.

The experience is great. Tim knows alot of things astronomy and anything related to it. Just have to be sure that they'll have a clear weather when you go there, but even if you go on a cloudy or foggy weather, he'll make sure that your visit there is somehow worth it.

We had such a great time! We rented a sky bubble for the night and did the night sky experience. We loved every second of our stay. The bubble was the most unique place we have stayed. Tim and Amanda were great hosts! They provided a comfortable place to sleep with snacks and bottled water, plus had good coffee ready for us when we woke. Warning, it is very difficult to get to sleep after touring the night sky with Tim’s telescopes and then having the stars sparkle above you through the clear dome too, you won’t want to close your eyes! We had an amazing time and recommended it to anyone who enjoys looking at the night sky. We can’t wait to go back and stay longer, thanks for such a wonderful experience Tim!

This has got to be one of the coolest stops we made on our first ever East coast adventure. The space bubble tent had a spectacular view of the stars (we were fortunate to have clear skies) and was outfitted with cozy, cute star-themed bedding. Amanda and Tim are friendly and amazing hosts. We were treated with a bucket of snacks, and breakfast with homemade muffins, coffee and other goodies the next day. They have a campfire site where we enjoyed roasted marshmallows, and kayaks for use on the little serene river by their property. The washrooms and shower are pretty decent for a camping site. Bring bug spray for the evenings. We didn't do the add-on sky show, but heard from another guest the next day that it was amazing and that Tim had hooked her phone up to the telescope to take a video of the moon or something like that as a momento.

Staying at Deep Sky Eye was an unforgettable experience. We booked for one night accommodation at the Sky Bubble (2 guests) and the Nocturnal Sky Theatre experience. Being able to see the night sky while lying in a soft bed was such a unique experience. The sky bubble was spacious and had a heater/aircon, a small table and chairs, a double bed, and bedside tables. Free wifi is available, although it can be a bit spotty, so we were given a walkie-talkie to communicate with Tim/Amanda, the owners. Although it did get a bit chilly at night, it was very warm and cozy in the bubble. The Nocturnal Sky Theatre experience was very enjoyable and we learned a lot from both Tim and Brenda. We even got to see very clear images of the craters of the moon through a telescope. Deep Sky Eye is a must visit if you want a unique experience, a chance to see the night sky away from the light pollutions of the cities, and to learn more about the stars, galaxies, and constellations. Some tips:-Bring blankets or a jacket if you’re doing the Nocturnal Sky Theatre experience as the temperature can drop pretty drastically-Bring a pair of binoculars, if you have one, to see the night sky more clearly-Explore the grounds, there are many picturesque locations on the grounds with hammocks, chairs, and fire pits available

We loved our time at the Deep Sky Observatory. We stayed 3 nights in a Sky Bubble (to ensure we'd get at least one clear nigh) which we did! Attending Tim's experience at night was so worth it, if only to hear his story about his blindness and how he ended up doing this. Would highly recommend. Also, as a beginner Milky Way photographer, Tim gave me some great tips!

We’ve been trying to visit this place and to catch a good stargazing forecast for some time, and we were so glad we managed last summer. That was a spectacular experience! Thank you Tim and Amanda for your hospitality, sharing your stories and knowledge! Amanda was so welcoming and explained every detail of our stay. This is a place to relax, to enjoy the moment and to learn something new. The bubble was super comfortable, it was cozy inside and very warm during the night. There are a few fire pits, you could do kayaking or just watch the sunset over the river. The observation experience was informative. We loved the part when Tim showed constellations just on the sky! Wish we had it back at school.Thank you and we hope we could go back!Victoria & Alex
