We were discriminated against at this store from the lady cashier as she was giving us sketchy looks based on our ethnicity from the minute we got in to the store. What made it worse was when we were paying for our stuff as we noticed how she treated us differently compared to the previous people in line. We felt super uncomfortable and they should NOT be in business and need to learn how to treat their customers first. We definitely will not come back to this store and I advise anyone to go elsewhere.Also, This store has the same products as the dollar store and dollar tree as well as it is double or triple the price compared to its competitors and you can check out your self.Finally, all the new 5 star reviews you are seeing are FAKE and are people related to the owner just to adjust their rating, you will deff notice that.

Absolutely fabulous establishment! I looked everywhere for these! I also found more items in each section than rama or tree. Oh and super friendly staff! They even asked if I found everything? I did not and he asked what it was they were missing so they could get it in so it would be there for my next visit! Great experience and will be back!

Great little store. Inventory's pretty good, plenty of housewares, stationery, and craft supplies that are good quality (similar stock to KW Surplus). Prices are a little higher than a dollar usually, but still reasonable. Good customer service too.

Excellent customer service , especially the female cashier was very polite, humble and she helped to find Storage boxes according to my needs and gave some candies to my niece ❤️.Lots of love and respect. We really appreciate your service and support in our community. Blessings.

Best store ever. Came here to purchase celebration balloons for my partners friend’s birthday. I was assisted by the nicest girl in the cute fuzzy white Calvin Klein sweater. She assisted us in filling the balloons with helium & as she did we had a conversation & she was happy to bring up positive things about the store. I hope the owner sees this review & recognizes when he has a good reliable employee under his company. It was a plus too that the prices were more decent than I thought they’d be. They also carry other bigger items like comforters, furry blankets & other bedding. Thanks Dollar Planet I’ll be happy to be back!

Clean and quaint location, but it's definitely a ma-and-pa general store under the cloak of 'Dollar Store' as you'll be hard-pressed to find much for a bargain. I saw an item for $50.00 plus tax. :O Probably good if you're in a bind.

The open sign was on, but the doors were all locked. I can’t give a higher score if I can’t enter during your hours of operation.Looking at the reviews, they seem to be paid for. Here’s an example: one reviewer also gave 5* to two different stores that sell low frequency purchase products within a week. Possible, but then one of the stores also gave a 5* to DP. Still possible, but then you see more reviewers here gave 5* to that other store. Possible, but that other store is 75km away.Edit to the owner: Thanks for replying. Yes, I visited at the Waterloo store at 5:45PM. I tried pulling the double front door. Then I tried the door to the left. Then I tried the front door again, and tried pushing (in case the pull label was incorrect). There was a black realtor style lock on one of the door handles, but I believe it was locked from the inside.
