Greek Village Restaurant
Came here for dinner on a Friday and the place was very busy. Our service was great, no complaints there at all. The food was pretty good but not the best Greek I’ve had by a long shot. Portion sizes are pretty standard. Overall, good experience and I’d eat there again.

First and foremost, the service was great. I recognized the lady that served us from the last time we where here and that was almost 5 years ago. I know that management have changed and I am glad they kept most of their staff. She made it a point to go around to all the tables and took the time to actually talk to everyone. Most restaurants nowadays you'll never see the waitress again once they have taken your order.The food, on the other hand was a bit of a let down. The ribs were dry and bland, and the lamb was inconsistence. Some pieces were perfectly cooked while other were overcooked and very tough.

(Take out order) $17 for 7 pieces of shrimp tastes bland , also ordered calamari, tziki sauce ( overpriced for the portion) and pita bread , calamari is also very bland. Overpriced, don't know how they're still in business. Would definitely not recommend for a greek food experience. Also they automatically placed a $10 tip for a appetizer order (above) for 2 people, only thing that was decent was the tziki sauce....shouldve ordered from my greek taverna" on 152 and 64. Last time we'll be ordering from here again. There's a reason why they're rated 4.3 Ordered June 3rd 2023 ."

Ordered the spicy chicken wings and calamari for appetizers. We felt the wings were precooked and microwaved, not fresh at all. Calamari was ok a couple of us found it too rubbery. Dinner portion of beef souvlaki and roast lamb were decent as well as the service however the food was overall lacking flavour. Wings were a huge disappointment. We didn’t even finish them. The rest of the food just basic.

The food here is so delicious and has a big portion. The servers are very friendly and they helped us take some pictures of our party as we were celebrating our girlfriend's birthday. We also had a room for us to have our party there. The restaurant is very clean and we use the same restaurant for all our birthday celebration parties. They also would play the birthday music and they bring a special dessert for the person who is celebrating her birthday. We just love it there.

Best Greek food in town by far, I have tried many Greek Restaurants and this is one of the best! Service is really good, food is amazing. Me and my family came and it was fairly busy but food did not disappoint. We will definitely be back

I love this place. The servers are always very friendly and helpful when you are undecided on what to order. I’ve tried their lamb souvlaki and vegetarian platter before. The flavours of the platter was just beyond amazing. Good portion size for 3 people depending on how hungry you are. The spices on the dolma I ordered today was very flavourful. I would only wish that they have more vegan friendly options.

After reading everyone's reviews I decided to go and check it out. It was my birthday dinner that my friends and I went to.Just as we arrived the waitress brought us in to our table. It took them 15mins to bring us menu's and water. I had asked one of the waitress can someone help us and she abruptly said u just have to wait.I was not happy at all!!Finally when the waitress did come she did not very happy. We finally ordered drinks and appetizers.There pop is horrible it is watered down.Ur better off with water. We had to complain about that again our waitress seemed irraterd. Finally our appetizers arrived the chicken wings we're very salty and the cheese had a weird taste. Only thing was that the Calamari was decent.At this point I am not happy with the food and the horrible service that we we're getting.We all finally got our main courses that was decent.I eat at alot of restaurants and put in reviews.This is one restaurant that I don't recommend.They need better customer service and the price they charge for food and drinks should be better then what we got.My girlfriend had to ask the waitress if you do anything for birthdays and she was rude about it and said no we don't but I will bring u something this time.I would like the owner of the business to contact me at there earliest convenience so we can discuss this further.
