My experience with Energy Werx BC was phenomenal. From start to finish - chatting through the appt with Josh over the phone and then having Geordan come out to the house for the pre and post inspection was easy, convenient and informative! Geordan was such a personable, knowledgeable person and walked me through the process. His communication and reports were prepared quickly. Great customer service! I called Ron McLaughlin on behalf of an elderly family member who is considering changing their oil furnace for a heat pump. He gave me loads of information about both federal and provincial rebates, informed me about the low income qualifier program, provided me with a phone number to contact a Clean B.C energy coach, and emailed me links to search heat pump models to make sure they are on the rebate list. Unfortunately the representative did not show for my appointment. I was not contacted by the company and have not received any form of communication. Quite frustrated with the poor customer service.

We recently purchased a new heat pump for our Victoria-area home and, in order to be eligible for federal grants, required pre- and post-installation home energy audits. We had an absolutely excellent experience with Energy Werx.Ron McLaughlin, who did both the initial and follow-up audits, couldn't have been more professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all our questions, showed up on time, and did his work efficiently.And we were SO grateful that when Ron looked at the invoice provided by our heat pump supplier, he noticed that the model number on it wasn't familiar to him and asked if we were sure this model was on the federal list of approved devices (knowing this was our responsibility and the heat pump supplier's). Ron investigated the matter further and let us know that although the number was similar to approved models, this particular model was NOT on the federal government's list. Thankfully, we were able to change our order with the supplier to a model that was eligible. If it hadn't been for Ron, we'd be out $5,000!!! Ron also let us know about government rebates for the energy audits he had performed.As a whole, we found the company very professional. Tammy Wagner in the main office was very responsive and helpful in answering our emails and calls, and sent us step-by-step information on how to apply for our various government rebates.Highly recommended!

I wasn't sure about some of the questions on the Greener Homes Grant application, I called Ron and he went through the whole application with me over the phone. Definitely recommend!

Thank you so much for providing such a positive, professional service. Geordan did an excellent job. He took time to explain what he was doing and described every step of the procedure. Further, he provided informed answers to my questions and completed his reports in a timely manner. One thing that really stood out for me was Geordan’s genuine, kind manner, even with my big dog. Not good. Careless data entry by an Energy Werx technition resulted in a haywire energy report we had to get corrected. Our grant application was unnecessarily delayed for over a month until we discovered Energy Werx had failed to submit our follow-up report to the Green Homes program.I suggest you check out another energy audit company.

Excellent service, Geordan was punctual and provided wonderful customer service. He made sure to be available to us to answer any questions or concerns we had. Our report was done quickly and we received our grant much quicker then anticipated. Thanks again!
