It was pretty but just a straight trail, no where to picnic, no where to really go to... walk so far in, turn around and come back. It’s not that it was bad just not for me.

The Upper Grand Trailway
Excellent trail for walking, jogging, biking and taking the dog for a walk. The trail it self is an old railway line, meaning it is relatively flat, but meanders along the way. Nice views of vast farm fields, forest and the Grand River. It starts in the hamlet of Waldemar, processing to the town of Grand Valley and ends in Luther Marsh.There are public benches along the way to rest or just take in the view.

The Upper Grand Trailway
Horrible trail for cyclocross or any non-suspension bike. Highly recommend MTB with suspension or a good Hybrid with larger tires able to absorb the washboard GRASS (not gravel) trail. Looks nice for a walk or simple hike. Thebeautiful town of Grand Valley makes up for an otherwise terrible cycling trail.
