I bought my first ever sewing machine from Michele at Hamilton Sewing (Babylock Katherine) approximately a year ago, and I participated in the associated workshops to get to know my new machine. I had initially been looking at a store on Ottawa Street, but I'm so glad I decided to check out Hamilton Sewing. I would have bought the wrong machine. Michele is amazing to deal with. She knows what she is talking about, she is honest, and she is kind. I have returned to purchase various sewing accessories from her, and will definitely buy my next machine from her. My mother purchased a Serger from Michele several years ago, but hadn't taken the machine out of the box. Michele encouraged her to come in and participate in a course so she could learn her machine all these years later. I made a mistake as a beginner and needed a repair for my Babylock machine the first time I used it - I think I changed the needle incorrectly. Michele didn't even charge me for the repair since I was just learning. I highly recommend this shop. When you meet someone you can trust you stick with them.

I bought a new Husqvarna from Michele over a year ago, and just took it out of the box recently. I had trouble with the threading, so took it back to her for some help. (I dropped in with no appointment). Michele was extremely helpful, and gave me some suggestions on how to use the machine better. I would highly recommend others making use of her services, and expertise.

My friends and I bought a Longarmmer from Hamilton Sewing last year. Michelle was willing to help us understand how to use the Amara Longarmmer by giving us some lessons. Also, we had to get the bottom trolley replaced due to a fluke manufactured defective part. Michelle and Leonard came to our place, replaced the new part and gave great service. overall, their service was wonderful! We are so happy to have it replaced. They were very patient with us and letting us know what to do and how to be aware of the Longarmmer uses. They are kind and professional.

Last time I went in the lady that worked there was quite rude to me like she didn't want me in the store. It's surprising because I bought my serger there and had conversed a lot with the person in the store at the time during the buying and she was really nice and knowledgable. Maybe it's two different people. Maybe she was having a bad day.

Michele is the only lady or machinist that was able to fix my machine in all of Hamilton! She is AMAZING and KNOWS sewing machines! All her products are of the best quality. And quality is everything in sewing and Michele has it!!!

Just now asked my sewing partner why she wasn't using the machine that had been repaired at this location. Her words, Well

I live in Toronto, and looked around before I came to Hamilton Sewing. Michelle is so knowledgeable and listened to what my needs were in a machine and has provided excellent after purchase care. I will gladly take the drive to come to her store.

Wow, extremely rude person in store, I am astonished at how they can be in business with such an attitude problem. I went in to ask about repair and she didn’t even want to hear anything about the issue and just threw out a random outrageous price so that I would just leave. Any other person would have asked me details, and suggested I bring it in to take a look, showing basic customer service skills, but that was asking too much of her as she just wanted me to leave. It was not like I went in right at closing and they are trying to close, it was midday, during their business hours! Just awful!

Appreciate the dedicated service offered by Hamilton Sewing. Their knowledge & expertise as well as their kindness shines while maintaining business during this trying Covid-19 time. It may take a while to get your machine back when in for service but that's because they are so popular with sewers driving miles to get their machines here. It's a small store with a huge heart for their customers!
