Dufferin Medical Clinic & Walk-In

I had a rough day before I came, front receptionist ladies were very kind and empathetic. the doctor himself is phenomenal. I will be returning here for all my medical needs. thank you for the experience!

Receptionists were nice and I got taken care of pretty quickly. This is a no frills spot so don’t expect to come here for fancy service. Call ahead to schedule an appointment.

The front desk staff are rude and dismissive. I was recommended by a friend but I had to switch family doctors because the front staff are the problem not the practitioners.

The front desk ladies were very sweet and kind. They are also trained nurses so they are working their hardest to accommodate as many patients they can see for the day and unfortunately have to make a cutoff and can’t bend rules. Some people leaving harsh reviews need to practice a bit of patience and understanding.

Horribly disorganized system, waited for nearly 3 hours only to have my concerns dismissed and be done in less than 10 minutes. Multiple other people had been there for hours while others (without appointments as well) were seen before them. The staff is also unfriendly and the waiting room was incredibly humid/hot

My first visit today over an hour and a half wait because they book appointment than walk in are last to be seen and the reception is not very welcoming at all very noisy people on there phones talking and the people are asked to wear a mask and people are walking in the waiting area without mask .anyway if my pharmacy didn't recommend this place I would try to find a different doctor to go to very negative time hereUPDATE I will not be going back found other doctor in a different area that understands my medical needs better ...

I have known Dr. Duchastel for 16 years and great companionate dr. and listens and understands patients needs...

Way too hot and cramped in here. Waiting room is over 30°C even though it's only 24° outside. They have a small air conditioner in the room but keep it on fan-only mode? So hot and sweaty.Signs everywhere saying masks required but none provided and no enforcement?

I wanted to give this place a higher rating, the doctors are experienced and diligent, but all the good work of the doctors is squandered by one front desk person (if you've been there, you know who)This person asked me to come to the clinic to fix a referral that THEY messed up, even though I have been calling for many months asking for updates and being told all is ok and I'm still in queue.They also required to come to the clinic just for the doctor to check my blood tests and advise if my dose needs to be altered.. like hello, we have phones for a reason!!I get that these places are underfunded and overworked, but the way this person insists on personal visits for every single thing is absurd. Maybe try cooperating with patients rather than wasting everyone's time like this?
