Traveling through Merritt after having new brakes installed in another city. Despite being super busy, he took the time to look at our truck and assure us we could make it home to the coast. Thank you for your caring attitude!

Frank is a no nonsense guy, but knows his stuff. Despite being super busy he managed to squeeze us in last minute when our engine light came on while driving from Calgary to Vancouver. Was willing to listen to troubleshooting we had done so far and gave us a quick fix to get us over the mountains so we could have it looked at properly when we were back in the city.

Broke down on highway near Merritt. Limped in to Frank's Mechanical as he had a decent rating. He had no interest in looking at our vehicle because he is too busy. He was a little rude but said no shop in town would look at us and there are no rental vehicles in town. I asked what my options are and he just shrugged and said tow it home. Then he rudely told me to move my vehicle. Not impressed with this guy!

Frank (the owner) is all about business. I called Frank’s Automotive in Merritt BC because I had problems with my truck while on holidays. Frank said that they were extremely busy and would not be able to help me. At that time I was lost. Frank said okay bring it in now and he would see about diagnosing for me so I could check other places. They were very efficient and discovered the problem with in minutes. I then asked again would he be able to help me out and repair the problem. He said let me see if I can first get the parts. He came back and gave me the price and said take the truck back to camp and he would call when parts are in. Three days later I got the call and now my truck is back on the road. I personally recommend this company . Thanks Frank for your superior service.

So rude and unhelpful. Tried explaining the problem im having with my car over the phone. He was rude, said he couldn't help and hung up

We didn't actually end up using Frank's services, but he really helped us out.We were on a road trip and our vehicle stopped working on the Highway. I called many service shops and Frank was the only one who asked me some probing questions and put me in touch with a transmission specialist who ended up helping us. We are so thankful for that extra fews minutes that Frank put in and pointed us in the right directions.Thank you so much!!!

Frank and his son saved our vacation! We were driving from Calgary to Vancouver Island with an overnight stop in Merritt. Check engine light went on in our diesel 40 km before Merritt. We limped into Merritt under reduced power. We tried several places. Frank was the only one that was able to squeeze us in and help us out the same day. We were hailing our trailer and he and his son directed us into their parking lot and managed to diagnose and fix the issue with our truck right there in the parking lot. We were able to continue on with our vacation and we are forever grateful.
