Summertime Treats

Where we normally get sundaes, we pay the same price for their small and it's half the size of this small sundae and the ice cream is hollow in the centre. Summertime treats fills the dish with ice cream and toppings! Awesome value and delicious!!

What an amazing little shoppe. If they broadened their horizon to debit though, or even a 3rd party ATM they'd double their revenue. Cash only! But worth it.

Service was quick. Soft serve was cold cold, which is a big plus in my books. Prices are super reasonable. A good stop if you are taking the back roads from Truro to the Valley.

Good serving for the price. They offer hard and soft ice cream as well as some special treats like sundaes, bannan splits and things like a Blizzard or McFlurry. I have gone a couple times and always recieve very friendly service.

Went to Summer Treats for years, this was my first trip this yearI ordered a ice cream sandwich which was $4.15, when it was served it was a Ice cream sandwich from Sobeys taken out of the wrapper and put in a baggieVery expensive and very disappointing, I was expecting a home made cookie and ice cream as they are in other ice cream shacksNot sure if I will go back, really disappointed, my wife got a small waffle cone with twist soft ice cream $4.35 which was 95 percent chocolate ice cream thought that was suppose to be 50/50 or close too it$8.50 for two disappointing ice cream treatsMaybe there are new owners ??Not sure about that, but disappointed

Love the ice cream. They serve soft and hard ice cream. My favorite is the Sundays.The Anthony family hires local high school students. This is great as they do not have to go far from home to get a summer job. The shop closes from September to May.

Fantastic service and ice cream. Just as an FYI though, it is CASH ONLY so just make sure you have some since they don't take cards. Otherwise a nice place to stop and get a treat.

My family and I always visit this area during the summer and we are always so excited to go to the ice cream stand.Personally I like the hard ice creams as there are so many different flavours (my favourite is black raspberry cheesecake) but I also know that the sundaes and milkshakes are really good as well. I haven’t tried the other stuff but let’s be honest it’s probably delicious.They HAD picnic tables outside so you could sit and eat your ice cream except they had to remove them due to Covid :(
