Everything is dirty, no wifi, rude workforce, boarding the train was confusing after following their instructions.The employees are very rude. I asked the stewardess if there was wifi (because the trains are old & of course their intercom can barely be understood) she then screamed WE SAID THERE'S NO WIFI!" at me. Later

Yes there is more room than a plane but…Trains are not always on time and move incredibly slow, they prioritize freight trains. This along with a slow train in general that can only max 100km per hour (but never does) makes this almost utterly useless to take since driving will be faster. Comparing this to a plane is not very smart since it take 5-6x longer than a plane if ur lucky.

Easy to navigate and access from the PATH. Staff were very helpful, many around to guide you. Bathrooms west of the ticket counter. Signage is easy to follow. Well kept too. Taxi standing area right in front of the building.

Travelled on Train 44 from Toronto to Ottawa on May 29th. After experiencing some discomfort with the seat I was in, I asked if anything could be done to change seats. I was sent almost immediately to another car with comfier seats. This made my day and my trip. Linnea and Pascal provided absolutely amazing service, they deserve more praise than this review can offer. They were a shining light on this trip and I hope to see them again on the train in the future.

VIA Rail at Union Station Toronto is a mess, but not entirely due to any fault of their own. It’s because of the never-ending construction at Union that VIA concourse and luggage collection (pictured) is a maze.Most stairs to get to platforms are located in dark narrow hallways, as is the luggage carousel. VIA could provide better signage to guide travellers where to go etc.

Resse at via rail office in union station saved my mother and I holiday,our flights were cancelled back to back and he helped us get everything set up for a train ticket to New Brunswick, the staff on the trains we took are polite and friendly, shout out to the Montreal -halifax Train crew they are a great bunch!

Travelled from Union station to Montreal by myself with luggage. Attendants, staff on and off the train were extremely helpful. I haven’t travelled by train in years but certainly will do so again. Easy and convenient!

I love the train! We travel from Rochester NY to Toronto frequently for family and travel. My family is from the US and partner is Canadian. It’s so nice and less stressful. My only issue is the VIA business class lounge. Each and every time I have to actively convince my he attendant that I’m entitled to use the lounge and have paid for a via business class ticket. I’m tired of the rude attendants and looks. Why is it so hard? Just let me get the cup of coffee I paid for!

Good for travel to Ottawa since other trains don’t go there, abs staff in the train are friendly. Service could be better in terms of preventing delays and maintaining the trains.
