How do I begin to express how incredible Jason and Brandon were throughout the entire process of removing our existing wood flooring, installing the new beautiful narrow plank red oak and custom staining it to perfection? It was a three week job and these gentlemen blew us away with their outstanding workmanship - true professionals who worked their hearts out while remaining upbeat, friendly and wonderful to be around - even throughout some of the more challenging moments. Ie: uncovering layers of materials in our quirky 1912 kitchen, rebuilding the subfloor and making it indestructible in the end.We have hired several contractors and floor professionals throughout the years and not one of them even comes close to Jason's experience, knowledge and obvious passion and enthusiasm for his work. Jason was absolutely amazing! We are so pleased with the work he did on our maple pre - finished floors! The floors, including the stairs, were sanded, stained and finished with the coating of our choice - best part of all, it was dust free! Jason was always on time, put in full days, and did not go to any other jobs until ours was complete! We would highly recommend his amazing customer service and work to anyone!

Jason was an excellent hardwood floor refinisher. He was professional and thorough. Floors look brand new. Would recommend to anyone in the Edmonton area. He provided an accurate estimate and presented multiple stain options. He also constructed and installed floor transition pieces for us, and patched an unfinished section of hardwood floor.

Jason provided a quote on refinishing our hardwood. We were impressed with the approach taken and the detail provided. We decided to take a different approach to our flooring reno but if we were to have proceeded with a refinish of our existing floor we definitely would have considered Walnut Grove. Friends of our used this company's services and we saw the finished product which was impressive. We particularly liked Jason's professional upfront business manner in our dealings which shows the quality of work they do for their customers.

Right from the day we had him in for a quote for refinishing our hardwood floors we felt very comfortable with Jason. He took the time to explain the process and outline all the basics and value adds his company would provide if awarded the contract. He provided us with sample boards of the colors we were considering so we could better envision what the end result might be like. The competitors basically came in, took measurements and left saying they would email a quote. Jason's quote was very detailed and when I emailed a couple of questions for clarification, he replied within hours and then followed up with a phone call to ensure I was comfortable. When the work commenced, we witnessed a total professional at work. During sanding we were surprised by how little dust there was and Jason worked hard to keep our home clean. Our concerns about damage to other flooring areas adjacent to the hardwood, stair rails, etc proved totally unfounded as Jason was able to get into the smallest areas removing all the old finish without so much as a scratch anywhere else. Unlike work we had done by other contractors in past where we felt they were potentially cutting corners, with Jason we felt very comfortable and confident of his professionalism at every step of the process from sanding, to filling, to staining, to sealing. His company motto is professional quality like it used to be and I can attest to that truth. This goes beyond the work itself and extends to every aspect of customer service. From simply arriving promptly at the times he said, to answering questions, to double checking that we were comfortable with how things were going, Jason always went above and beyond. It is without hesitation that I would recommend Walnut Grove flooring to anyone whether it's having your floors refinished or having them install your new floor.
