The Greek Gastown
My experience at the Greek restaurant was a mix of hits and misses. The watermelon mint mojito was a refreshing and unique twist, a definite highlight. The lemon potato was flavorful and satisfying. However, the beef skewer and rice left much to be desired, lacking in taste. The service, although friendly, was disappointingly slow. While I appreciate the staff's warmth, the overall experience fell short. I'm uncertain if I'll return to this restaurant in the future.

Have been here a few times before and I’ve enjoyed it every time! Came here most recently on a date night. Wine was on special - $3 off an 8oz glass. We shared the lamb platter and had an appetizer too! Everything was delicious and the customer service was great! Highly recommend for Greek food in the downtown and Gastown area.

My family and I have loved going here for years for the delicious Greek food. We love the lamb platters, moussaka, pita bread, and more!I had to minus a couple stars though because yesterday, we made a reservation last minute around 7 p.m. as we were just in the area, but the hostess wearing a patterned kimono / shawl was extremely unwelcoming to my sister. She made a snarky comment saying that we were the group that made a reservation just 15 minutes ago as if we were an inconvenience. Our server was great though and ambience was nice as usual.

We did not have a booking but they were gracious to offer a table at the bar or a private setting upstairs, for about an hour and a half, which was a little more than we needed. The waiteress are pleasant and very helpful. Food is really good and the portions are worth their price. Thank you for making my a table available for us to celebrate my husbands birthday.

The Greek cares for their customers, and when I had a less than 5 star experience, the restaurant contacted me to make things right. I can confidently say that the food at the Greek is delicious - happy hour is everyday from 2-5pm with a great assortment of dishes and drinks.Highly recommend the platter to share. Flavors were on point.

From the moment we arrived, we were seated promptly on their patio without any wait. Despite the busy time, we were quickly accommodated. Our order, the Souvlaki Platter for 2, exceeded our expectations in terms of portion size and taste. If you visit, I highly recommend trying their Tiger Prawn and pork options—they were delicious!

20/10 Experience! I cannot express my appreciated enough to Skerdi (the Manager) and ALL the staff who made our night absolutely amazing. We had an intimate wedding ceremony and dinner here and the experience was absolutely perfect. The food and service were remarkable. All my guests were raving about it! Highly recommend The Greek Gastown to anyone looking to plan a fun event or even just a dinner. AMAZING!

Excellent Greek food. Extra crispy calamari, delectable dips and their slouvaki platter was incredible. Lives up to their big portions too! The atmosphere was awesome. Make sure to book in advance since the restaurant was packed. Will definitely come again!

The Greek Gastown
There were a couple of seats available on Saturday early evening and we were seated quickly. It took a long time for the server to come get our orders. Though the service was a bit slow, everyone was very friendly and welcoming.I loved that you can mix and max different souvlaki. I’ve never seen this option before. Though I was a bit disappointed with the salmon (a bit bland tasting) and wished I went with my original choice of two prawns. Those were very flavourful and cooked perfectly! The rice was a bit watery. I loved the veggies on the side. The souvlaki meal didn’t come with pita, which was a first at a Greek place!The ambiance was good. Decor was nice. The music was a bit too loud. Good experience overall, but not quite 5 stars.
