We had our roof de-mossed and treated by Shackmaster. They had two staff do the work. We have a two story house and they completed the job in about 4 hours. Scheduling the appointment was fast and easy. They showed up on time and were very professional and careful . They did a thorough job and cleaned up all of the mess that came off the roof. We plan to use them again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting excellent quality work at a fair price.

The crew (mostly just one person) did an excellent job of hauling and spreading 6 yards of mulch in spite of a very wet yard and with intermittent downpours to contend with. Shack Master is very pleasant to deal with. They were on time on every occasion, and the invoice was entirely consistent with the estimate. Would definitely hire them again.

Very friendly and professional. Gave me a great deal and offered to return to in the following season for free to reassess the lawn. Offered great cost saving tips to prevent further damage to my lawn.Highly recommend.

Shack Master Home Services is excellent. The crew is hardworking, meticulous, friendly and helpful. I had a lot of overgrown ivy in a corner of the yard that was covering up junk left by the previous owner. That corner now is ready to be tended into garden areas. There were also two rotten sheds that were taken down. In addition, there was a pile of rotten scrap wood along the fence that was all cleaned up and hauled to the dump. And lastly, an overgrown shrub that was blocking the sun was taken down and hauled away as well. The rate for all this work was honest and reasonable. We purchased a roof treatment through Shackmaster from Island Daily Deals in November 2020. Upon reaching out to book an appointment they said they would do them in the spring when weather was better.We reached out again in April and were told we were still on the list, with a job eventually scheduled by them for end of May 2021. The day of the job, no-one showed up. A follow up email said weather was a factor,On July 24 I emailed again to ask, as we'd had no contact with them during a hot, dry stretch. They then booked an appointment for July 27.Once on scene, they were in and out quickly and we're excited to see the treatment take effect soon. The service overall was good, but it was a slog getting the appointment booked.

ShackMaster provided excellent communication when arranging our moss removal from our roof. They were punctual and professional.I would recommend them to anyone in the Nanaimo area, but make sure to book early as their schedule gets full quickly.

Not impressed with amount of work done compared to amount charged. I should have done the work myself and saved myself the money and stress.At 75 dollars per hour per person I would expect a lot more than a small postage stamp of weeding for 600 dollars! As the review suggests before me ... mostly one person did the work. Make sure you are clear you are paying by the hour not a quote for a job!
