One of the most thorough and in-depth examinations I've ever had - I have been in search for a dentist who looks into the root cause of issues and has a holistic approach. Dr. Johal and her team took the time to address my issues and concerns and followed through with an action plan that would best suit me. I have sleep apnea and after a consult with Dr. Johal it was recommended that I wear a breathe-right strip at night. This was an absolute game changer. I wasn’t able to wear my CPAP machine through the night until I started using the breathe right strips. I would always feel like I couldn’t breathe fully with the CPAP machine on. Now I can wear it all night and wake up without “brain fog” or headaches. My mother also has sleep apnea and I recommended she try the breathe right strips as well. They also completely removed her “brain fog” in the morning after wearing her CPAP all night. Really amazing what a little nose strip does for me and my breathing!

Fae (i think i spelled it right) was awesome, im literally doing this in the parking lot rn. ive been going for years and she was just awesome. We played some music and she gave me some vasliene on my lips, ive never had vasliene on my lips before here. AND SHE GAVE ME EXTRA TOOTHPASTE.She was also suuuuper nice, funny, and friendly, i feel like we’ve been friends for years and i just met her. Totally a vibe! Fae if u read this u were awesome!!

Doctor Johal and her team are amazing! We were referred to her for a tongue tie release for our daughter who was 2 months old at the time of our first appointment. They were so understanding and empathetic to what we were dealing with at the time. They felt that her palate was too sensitive to do the tongue tie release right away so they gave us some exercises to do with her for a few weeks before we came back, but kept in communication with us the whole time to see how we were doing and offer support. When we got the actual release done, it went so smoothly and pain-free that she actually came out of the procedure smiling. We are so thankful that we were referred here and although it was a bit of a drive for us, it was worth it every time!

Dr. Gabi is an excellent dentist. The clinic is clean and modern, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Gabi is very skilled and made my dental procedure easy and comfortable. She was patient, listened to my concerns, and answered all of my questions. Dr. Gabi is very gentle and the entire process was smooth and pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Gabi at Family Dental Centre.

Nothing but great things to say about the new patient experience here. Everyone was kind, friendly, and welcoming, but special shout out to Fae (sorry in advance for probably misspelling that!) for the most pleasant hygienist experience I've ever received. Examination was thorough, cleaning was relatively painless. I'm thrilled to have found this practice and look forward to returning.

The entire team at Family Dental Centre are welcoming, engaging, thorough and patient. Dr. Johal is a very skilled clinician. And the front end team is efficient, responsive and very organized. They have a whole-body approach which doesn't simply narrow in on dental concerns, but make recommendations aimed at improving airway health and overall longevity. Our family has had experience with tongue and lip tie releases, myofunctional therapy with Shannon Barcic, lactation consulting with Abby Mackenzie, regular dental cleanings/check ups and emergency dental services. Their team interacts with my young children at an age-appropriate level which has turned going to the dentist something they look forward to. 10/10 recommend for both adults and children.

I chose this dentistry purely based on the google reviews and it happens that I'll post the first negative one.My child had yesterday routine check-up. During the examination, the doctor was touching multiple times my child's mouth and teeth, while at the same time recording the data on the computer touching the filthy keyboard and mouse. With the exact same gloves she was typing, she was coming into a direct contact with my kid's teeth and saliva.So this dental clinic demands the patients mandatory to wear masks to protect their staff, but who can guarantee that my child was protected during this check-up and no bacteria had come into contact with the mouth. I don't want even to think how many patients were at this chair before the appointment.If that's what you call professionalism" and "hygiene" - you should seriously question your common sense and practice. This is outrageous!Needless to say that was our last visit."

An amazing supportive clinic with staff who are friendly and genuinely caring. I'm in my 50s and recently learned I'd been living my entire life with a tongue tie. Dr. Johal released mine about 3 weeks ago and I'm still marvelling at the difference it's made in my life: I can nearly touch my toes, my forearm tension is gone, there are lots of subtle changes I'm still processing. This is important work on so many levels. Thank you very much!

Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Johal and her team! My daughter’s pediatric chiro referred us for tongue tie and she had her tongue and lip ties released at 5 weeks old. The lactation consultants were so lovely and supportive and Dr. Johal explained the procedure thoroughly. I firmly believe that for us, the release was the reason my baby and I have gone on to have the successful breastfeeding experience I had hoped for.Fast forward 5 months and Dr. Johal released my own tongue tie that had gone undiagnosed for 34 years! Again, just an amazingly calm and encouraging experience. The procedure was less painful than I anticipated and I felt some IMMEDIATE relief from a lifetime of chronic tension. Excited to see how much more improvement comes with continued myotherapy and as my body gets used to not being tongue tied anymore!
