This company is excellent to deal with. Installed shutters this week.We are extremely pleased -- told us 10 weeks and actually a week early. installer also adjusted a competitors shutter on our French doors while he was here--- can't beat a local company and locally made.

I purchased shutters from Smart Shutter Canada. The shutters do not completely close when they are tilted downwards, therefore they let in light. The shutters have to be completely closed, tilted upwards. The shutters have completely discolored from sun... I called to complain, and the email response I got was we do not warranty against sun " The phone call I had with customer service offered no resolution at all. I have purchased shutters on a few occasions through Home Depot

Came in today for something completely unrelated to shutters & they went out of their way to help me out though it didn’t benefit them at all. Was refreshing to meet such genuine people. Hope this business goes a long way.

Our shutters just got installed on Thursday and we couldn’t be happier. We liked dealing with only one company. They measure, they make their blinds here in Hamilton and install them. Awesome experience. On the day of installation two of the blinds were too short. He remeasured that window, went to the factory and came back a few hours later and finished the job.

We contacted Smart Shutter to set up an appointment and to find out more about their product after completing some research online. Craig arrived at our home and was very respectful of social distancing. After some discussion we decided to proceed with measurements and pricing for the back of our house in the family room and kitchen. The shutters arrived and were installed by Ted, who by the way is very efficient and very personable, he does great work. Everything was completed in the time frames provided and the installation was painless. They look great and are very functional. The back of our home receives a tremendous amount of sun and we could not get over the improvement in the temperature this past summer with all of the hot weather we received. We also noticed our air conditioning was running less. We were so pleased we have had all the bedrooms, bathrooms, even the laundry room done and have really noticed a difference. We can certainly recommend this product and Smart Shutter Canada. We are very pleased, thank you Craig and Ted, as well as the Smart Shutter Team, you guys are great!!!!

FINALLY!! After having 3 previous quotes we decided to call Smart Shutter Canada, regarding shutters for our new construction home. Craig informed us, and educated us on all our options.We also needed a few custom arched shaped shutters made, which Craig guaranteed would be no problem at all. The installation went smooth, and the installers were very courteous, and cleaned up everything. I would highly recommend Craig and his team at Smart Shutter Canada. Price was great also!

We had our shutters put in last November. I am so thrilled on how they look throughout our home. I meant to post this review sooner, but life gets in the way. The service from showroom to in home installation was amazing. They bring samples and explain the process of installation. I had another company come for a quote, and the cost was almost double in cost. They also mounted on the window frame, which I did not want. Very professional from start to end, any questions I had were answered. I highly recommend Smart Shutter Canada!

Smart Shutters Canada provides professional service with quality product. We had Craig come into our home to measure our windows and provide us with a quote. This took place during the COVID19 pandemic, and he took extra precaution to ensure we were all safe. He provided us with extensive knowledge on the product which made us confident in making an educated decision on choosing the best window covering company to go with. We then had Ted come back for installation - he was very energetic and personable which was a nice presence to have in our home. Both Craig and Ted addressed any concerns and questions we had in a very calm and concise manner. We are absolutely in love with our new shutters & feel great about the purchase!
