Staff is incredibly friendly and knowing TLC had such a strong and dedicated care team made me feel very confident in having my procedure. During my first visit I had a panic attack and the consultant was helpful and well trained to deal with it! On surgery day they were so wonderful and it went well. They were thorough on making sure I understood post op procedures AND the receptionist knew my name at the 24 hour follow up.

I spent 6 months researching and making up my mind whether to invest in intraocular lens replacement. Have worn glasses all my life to see distance, in my 50s and have now had progressive glasses the last decade. After much consideration I made the big decision and had my surgery done yesterday by Dr. Rocha. Second day today, went in for my follow appointment and I am already at 20/20 for far, and reading no problem whatsoever, even the smallest print. It is amazing. Literally life changing. I feel like an 8 year old kid again. Dr Rocha provided excellent care and follow up. Shout out to the whole team for your incredible care and helpfulness, special shout out to Robert and Ashley. Thank you all SO much. I can’t say enough about how worth it this is. Exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend TLC Laser. I am very literally glasses free!!!

Had a great experience at TLC Laser Eye Centre with Dr. Rocha. I was nervous but everyone at the clinic was very professional and reassuring and I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Rocha is highly competent and projects that and I had high confidence in his abilities and I felt very safe during the process.

Was a great experience! I was squeezed in on my surgery day because I didn’t confirm my appointment. They still made it work and took excellent care of me. I would recommend if interested in lasik!

This post written 24 hours post surgery, and for anyone considering laser surgery. Amazing work and people. I've had extreme nearsightedness since I was 8 and now 20 years later I no longer have to wear them, near or far, thanks to the team here at TLC. I've left with 20/15 vision. Doctor Rocha, Leanne, Medi, Jennifer, Lisa, Peter the rest of the chill OR and tech room staff thank you all so much for this. It was like a journey waiting in a terminal for a flight to another place, meeting strangers who became friends. The procedure was quick, and they'll ensure you are comfortable as it will intimidating at first. You will make it through to the otherside. Immediately after I could read the clock unaided. It was emotional coming out of the building once the procedure was compete for the first time seeing what the world really looks like, feels like. Your vision during the healing will come and go in focus the first days (no need to worry like I did) get lots of rest and hydrate, as your body is in repair mode. Follow up is the next day at the clinic, they'll ensure everything went good and test your vision at that time if you are able to drive home, but continue to rest and not over exert your self or your eyes. They will provide a schedule for you to follow with what you can and cannot do, and that's where I'm at. I'll be waiting for the cyborg vision upgrade Lisa.

The staff at TLC Winnipeg were all amazing and very helpful! They answered any questions I had and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Rocha and the OR team made sure my surgery was quick and easy. I would highly recommend to anyone considering getting their surgery done. I am proud to say I'm a staff member of this great clinic!

The idea of eye surgery was very nerve wrecking but as soon as you walk through their doors, you are greated with the most friendly faces at reception. Furthermore, Dr. Luis did a fantastic job at breaking down what was happening to my vision, the do’s and dont’s before and post surgery. He was ber thorough with everything and had a very pleasant personality and laugh. My councillor was Medi and again, he was great! Went over any questions l had, addressed my nervousness, went over financials very well. He always made himself available as well which is great showing they genuinely care and its not just a job. Before surgery, miss Lisa really helped ease my nerves with her lovely-warm personality. She shared her experience of it, helped calm me down and she was always happy to do her job. He enthusiasm showed throughout and left a long lasting impression on me. Before surgery, the surgeon chatted with me about the surgery again and asked for verbal confirmation and surgery it was! The team here is amazing!! Even though l never planned for lazer eye surgery, I’m grateful to have worked amongst such an amazing and string team. I will encourage anyone to go to this location for eye care needs.

I wasn't sure exactly what to expect when I called up the TLC clinic in Winnipeg but my journey through the whole experience has been the best. My sight is now back to what it was in my 20's and I couldn't be more pleased. Everyone at TLC has been great to deal with, professional and informative. Thank you Dr. Rocha and team.
