Cove Bar & Restaurant
During my recent visit to The Cove, I had a mixed experience. The indoor atmosphere was decent but not exceptional, and I would recommend their patio and outdoor dining area for a better ambiance.The chicken wings we had as an appetizer were big in size but lacked the desired flavour, leaving no lasting impression. My main course, the fried chicken poke bowl, had delicious toppings, but the rice was disappointingly hard and cold.However, my husband enjoyed the linguine dish, which was cooked perfectly al dente with a well-balanced sauce. The flavours were satisfying, and he enjoyed it.The exceptional service truly stood out, with friendly and attentive staff making our dining experience enjoyable.

We were looking for a place by the lake and found this perfect spot for dinner. Our server was good and checked in multiple times if we needed anything. The food was fine. I particularly like the ma thai cocktail. However its a little pricey.

The ambiance is amazing and if you sit on the patio, there's a direct view of the water. I got the shrimp roll which was delicious but my friend got the tuna poke bowl, which wasn't too great. However, overall great experience :)

We had high hopes for this place. It was truly underwhelming. When you request for indoor seating, you get shoved to the back of the restaurant and forgotten about. The indoor seating area was so run down and the vibe was very different. They don’t even use cloth napkins, just paper ones. Reservations were at 130pm; we left after 4pm. 2.5 hours for lunch? The service was poor and slow; we were not well attended to. It took forever just get in our drink orders, let alone get the drink itself. The portions of appetizers were so small and fell on the mediocre side, for such a high price point. Their mains had an option to sub a side for ceasar salad, they don’t tell you it’s kale instead of romaine lettuce accompanied with 2.5 pieces of croutons. The seafood linguine had an overkill of salt; couldn’t cut it down even when you request for lemon. The fish dishes were alright, nothing too impressive. Overall, wouldn’t recommend.

The restaurant has a beautiful location. The waitress was absolutely amazing, kind, patient and checked on us many times. The food was good and we had a Friday special - fish and chips with a glass of wine which was a steal! Definitely planning to go back soon.

We randomly picked this restaurant when we arrived at Bronte Harbor. It has a neat glass door indoor patio which is heated. Good the chill weather yesterday. So you could look out and see the harbor.It's more like a pub food than an Italian restaurant as the despription says. I tried the shrimp roll first time. It was fishy and salty. A bit disappointed. The Salmon tasted pretty plain. The beef burger, Chicken Sando, red velvet cheesecake were good.Our waitress was pretty attentative. I'd come again for a drink or dessert. Maybe not for meals.

Went to the Cove for the first time with my wife. We had the mussels to start and we both had the seafood linguine. Food was fantastic. The service was excellent. Sit on the patio when you go, nice view of the lake and nice breeze coming off the lake. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

The location is just perfect. Very nice patio for summer time. The cocktails are delicious. The food used to be better. I still enjoy the Gnocchi! Fried mushrooms for appetizer is good. Fresh oysters.

Although the design and feel of the restaurant is very modern and pleasing to the eye, my party didn't have the greatest time on our particular visit.We found the service to be quite slow given how busy the restaurant was (?maybe the kitchen was short staffed that night; but our server didn't even check in on us much or ask if we wanted refills etc), the food was very hit or miss (the blackened catfish and deep fried mushroom app was very tasty, but our other dishes weren't very warm by the time it came out and were so-so)Like I said, maybe our visit was just a one off since there does seem to be many people who have enjoyed themselves here, but I wouldn't really go out of my way for a revisit

Great location and atmosphere, unfortunately I was not as amazed with the cuisine. Steer clear of the Fish and chips and calamari, excessively oily and lacked taste... Will be open to try other items just to give it an honest chance.
