Huge store with lots of selection of outdoor gear. Massive clothing section. Good range of hiking, camping and paddling products. Some stuff for climbing. Staff is friendly and helpful, but can be hard to find. Always a busy spot but kept well cleaned and organized. Can be pricey but they do have some good sales so watch for those. The website could be better designed for ease of use and finding specific items/pricing/availability.

Great location , nice layout. Prices aren’t always the best but they do get good deals. Do your homework before just buying as often same brand can be found at lower price.

Great location. Store is pretty big with lots of selection (2 floors). Big parking lot so no issues there. My only complaint and the reason I removed a star is it can be challenging finding an employee to help you. Normally it's not too long a process but everytime I've been there to look at footwear, I usually end up walking away frustrated at the lack of help. Hopefully that changes!

If your looking for outdoor clothing this is the place to go. Not everything is just outdoorsy like other stores. Layout is great to find your preferred brands and alway have plenty of discounted clothes too. Watch for the sales" and you will get great products for a fair price"

Stopped at Sails last week to buy a new kayak. Had great service and advice from JP, amazing customer care from Rosanna and invaluable help from Carol to install our new roof rack.Would not hesitate one bit in recommending Sails Ottawa to anyone!
