We had started out with a different company that after quoting the project, did not return calls and left us hanging for weeks.We got in touch with Gavin, who was professional and courteous and got us a quote within two days. His price for the job was very competitive. After being left in the lurch by the previous tree removal service, we needed work done quickly to accommodate a landscaping company, and Gavin was here within the week.He was very careful on the job site, and took a great deal of care on our property. Gavin and Tom are great guys. Hard working and funny. I was nervous about getting my tree down because it was in a corner surrounded by two fences and two above ground pools on either side. Very little room to work around without damaging anything. Gavin was calm and cool about the whole thing and reassured me he could do it. He calculated every cut and rigged any branches that would fall and damage anything. Very safe and professional. Great clean up and good price. I would recommend Gavin and Tom to anybody who has a problem tree. He is the man for the job.

Gavin and Tom removed a massive silver maple from my backyard last year. The project took several days and required them to work in a pretty tight area, compared to the size of the tree. They were friendly, professional, and highly skilled at their work. There was no damage to my shed or any of the wires running through the work area and all the wood was cleaned up when they finished. I would highly recommend these guys!

i called for a quote on removing one tree and heavily trimming another in our back yard. gavin came over the next day and was kind, competent, and gave us a quote on the spot. he was able to fit us in 24 hours later and his team were professional, quick, hadthorough clean up and did exactly what we asked. lovely hamilton business i will absolutely come back to if i need tree trimming or removal in the future.

Gavin and his crew took down a HUGE spruce tree in our backyard that took them 3 days. His price was the best compared to the other quotes I was getting. I wish I took a before shot of this tree (this shot was the last day and they were basically just working on the trunk so it looked almost like a palm tree at this point) but you can tell just by looking at the trunk next to the fence how big this tree really was. They were very professional and I almost forgot they were there at times (besides hearing the chainsaw). Our neighbour was also very pleased with this company and how they kept any tree fallings off their side.

Gavin was polite, professional, he did his job extremely well, his price was excellent, he checked the tree+had my estimate the day I called him, and he did the job within the week.He removed the big broken tree branch I asked about as well as the other trouble spots he showed me when he initially came to check the tree.He was great with the neighbours and with using their yard + driveway. Everything was clean when he was done. Not a twig left behind.I will be calling him again if any issue with one of my trees comes up again.

We were absolutely thrilled with the service Urban Canopy Tree Service provided us. The tree we had cut was very large and in a very challenging location and both Gavin and Paul took the time and effort to do the job with extra care and did an even better job that what we originally had expected.
