Awesome service. Been going to these guys for a few years now. They know their business like the back of their hand.Very honest business. The place from the outside might not look like the friendliest place, but the staff is super nice. And their product work all the time. Never had an issue in 7 years. And even if you have a problem, they are ready to assist you at any time. That's what I call good business. Thank you so much!

All started when we where given the wrong the, we had initially called about. Steve was nice and helpful. So far, so good!On pick up day, Extremely rude employe. Was rude to to the person I sent for pickup. We called to ask if we could come to swap it... this other employee hung up the phone before saying:I dont need your business... bring the material back and don't ever come back here" (he wouldn't give his name.. but called himself the "manager")Its really to bad that such business that has been around for so long. I use to rent all my DJ equipment from them years ago. I can say I havent had such awful service and such a bad experience ever in my life. from them years ago but this sort of service has. If your the owner of that shop and you are reading this... you should watch your staff more closely! Old saying is your staff will make you or brake you... that guy I had to deal with today guarantied no more business from me ever again. This is the first time in my life I go out of my way to express how awful I felt having to deal with this person.I'll ad more about the "returning my item" experience."

They don't state any return policy on purchases. Came to have something reimbursed and the seller told me they don't take purchases back (without any written policy I would've agreed upon on purchase). Stated my disappointment to be told it didn't matter and that he doesn't need my business anyway.Had a good laugh.

My favourite carnies in all Montreal. If you need to rent lights , fog machines or Speakers this place is the place. Don't mind the scary exterior, the people are very friendly.

I've been to Ivanco a few times in the past, usually for lighting and sound equipement for big parties. When it comes to the gears, if you're looking for it, they have it. They have a lot of stuff. They're friendly and knowledgeable, once they even threw in a stand free of charge. The problem I had is, the two or three times I dealt with them, I wanted, among other things, a specific lighting effect that they demonstrated for me in store. Each time, I made my equipement booking at least 1 month in advance, which included this particular lighting device and both times, when the day of the rental came, they had none available, already rented out to somebody else, they had several and all were gone. They tried to make up for it by loaning me another device, stating that this one was more expensive than the one I wanted, for the same price. Had that happened once, it would have been okay, but it happened twice, again the following year, same scenario. Then, there was the fact that these were all Saturday night gigs, like most gigs, and the equipement had to be returned the next day but they closed at something like 3pm on Sundays. Not very good hours if the gig ends at 5am and the venue is several hours drive outside of Montréal.

We needed disco lights, a sound system, and some disco–style lights for a fundraiser, and Ivan & co gave us fantastic professional–quality equipment for an extremely reasonable price. They really know their stuff, and have everything a dance club could ever need.

Just bought laminated posters from them today (although it's a store secondary merchandise) for a more than reasonable price. They were so nice about it too, commenting while I was making up my mind and offering me tape to wrap them up at the end. They're super friendly and funny too! Would recommend this place in a heart beat.

Staff is great, super helpful and have a lot of equipment. Very flexible on the pick up and return dates. Effects I had with the lights were amazing. Id recommend the black lights and the light and strobe machine that matches the bass of the music.

Awesome service, great prices, nice personnel, very professional and courteous. I would definitely go back there all the time!
