We used Capital Residential Electric Limited when upgrading a relative’s house and they provided outstanding service. Ryan came to do a site visit prior to beginning the work, discussed budget, lights and equipment needed, and while there identified an unsafe situation and immediately addressed it. This was greatly appreciated, as we had no idea that there was a problem. We booked a date for the work to begin, and he and his coworker Chad arrived promptly and worked extremely efficiently. Ryan communicated frequently with me regarding the work that I wanted done, and his fees were clearly explained to me so that there were no surprises. Furthermore, Ryan explained some of the issues that he had discovered, how he corrected them and costs associated with more complex electrical work that I was considering doing. Capital Residential Electric Limited was a great company to work with as they were extremely knowledgeable, honest, professional and on time. It was a pleasure working with them.

Have had a few large jobs and small jobs done by capital. very reasonable and professional the pride in workmanship will be matched by very few. Every thing stayed on or before schedule and couldn’t be more happy. Will be using them for any future jobs.

I was given the number for Capital Electric from a friend. I needed my meter base replaced. When I reached Matt he told me he could help. I coordinated with him and NSP to set up an emergency disconnect. I let him know when the disconnect happened and he dropped what he was doing and headed right over to take care of the job so that our family was taken care of and wouldn't be without power with an impending weather event! Great to deal with. An extremely fair price and great service. Capital Electric will be my first call for any other electrical issues in the future.

Had our panel upgraded and where it is an older home, we required a few other things done to meet code. I found Ryan to be very professional, on time and the work he did to be top quality. Capital Electric just upgraded our electrical entrance to 200 Amps and did a terrific job! They handled all of the dealings with Nova Scotia power (permit, inspection, etc) and gave us ample notice of when the upgrade was scheduled. I was impressed by their workmanship on installing the new panel and rearranging the existing generator panel, it now looks so much better than it did before. They minimized any disturbance of existing walls and left the work site super tidy. A very professional and competent company all round, I would not hesitate to hire them again - in fact we likely will with an upcoming reno!

Great experience! Matt and company arrived with good ideas, worked carefully, and completed our outdoor power box and veranda lighting installation quickly and accurately. So pleased that our contractor had Matt's name because the electrician we used for many years retired. Capital Electric will be our first call for future projects. Thanks again.
