Ashbrook Golf Club

Course is well laid out and greens were in great shape. Problem was with treatment received when paying greens fee. Our group of eight possessed four Greens Fee Passport books to be used. When we attempted to pay, expecting the appropriate discount, we were advised by the owner that the deal in the book would not be honoured as outlined. Owner advised he had “his own rules” and only 2 books could be used. As we had driven quite a distance, we played the round anyway, but not likely to return,

Pro: Good course and is well maintained.Con: The owner was VERY pushy and tried to rush us even when there were others at the green.4 star for the quality of the course itself but 2 stars for the quality of service. Will not go there again.

Nice course and well maintained. It's great for beginner to intermediate because the fairways are open and forgiving. Its quite long though, so be prepared to hit long clubs. I will be back.

Beautiful golf course. Enjoyed our round there today. They have a mini putt, driving range and practice greens.

We booked for a group of 2, and right before we're about to tee off, the lady at the front desk came to ask us if we would be okay with adding 2 people to play with us. I said no thank you, I wasn't wanting to be around strangers. She ignored me, and sent the 2 people our way, even though there was no one behind us. I went inside to remind her that I had said no to her asking me if I was okay with it. She said too bad, I could either get a refund or pay for 4 people to play.I'm not sure why she would have even asked me my preference if my answer did not matter. Worst customer service I've ever had at a golf course. We got our refund and left. Would not recommend, they're mostly concerned with making money, not respecting their customers.

Great place to get a quick round in. They were accommodating in getting us in within 24 hours notice.Watch out for hole 5.

Recently attended to hit the driving range. Upon entering the club house and approaching the counter to pay, I gave a friendly hello to the older guy working. His immediate response was “shhhhhh” and he put his finger over his mouth. Upon expressing confusion, he pointed towards a small child sleeping in a carrier behind the counter. The same thing happened to the next guy that walked in behind me. Why would an honest customer walking in expect a daycare at a golf course and then to be treated like a child?As a customer, I’ve never been treated like this entering a club house. Embarrassing customer service and definitely a bit strange. I just wanted to come and use the driving range on a nice afternoon in July …Driving range is okay … mats for balls seem weathered and in deteriorating condition. No flags or markers out on the range. Small buckets only -$8 a bucket.

Terrible experience and service.We pre-booked 4 golf carts and 2 tee times for our group of 8.They informed us when we arrived (8am) that they were saving one of our golf carts for a member who was playing later so 2 of our party members had to walk. It was HOT!The owner caused a commotion and was yelling at us, telling us to hurry up and rush before we even drove our first ball.He sent his poor workers around multiple times to rush all the golfers even though there were no big hold ups, luckily everyone understood that it was only the owner who was being rude and were nice enough to the messenger.I would not recommend anybody to golf here, there are better places to go in the area :)

I grew up playing on this course. It was called Hamilton Heights back then but it has enjoyed a resurgence under current management. They work hard to make the course enjoyable and they will always find a way to get you onto the course. They are friendly and always helpful. The driving range and the course are always in good shape. The course offers a challenge for all skill levels.

The lack of rain has hurt this course. Some greens (not all) still have some winter burn. Fairways are hard as a result of no rain. But the upside is that the ball rolls really really well. Judge your distance and deduct 20 yards for the roll. The carts run like cars, nice and quiet. Had a great day here, i will be back.
