Saba's African Cuisine
The food she served wasn't enough for the 4 of us and it didn't look fresh either. I told her that an Ethiopian restaurant in Winnipeg doesn't skimp on their customers. I have eaten there before and there wasn't a problem. When we walked in she was on a lounge chair talking on the phone and we seated ourselves. It wasn't a good experience that evening with that restaurant.

One of the best places to eat in Saskatoon! The food is fantastic, you will never leave hungry. Keep in mind which ones you liked the most and if you need more food, just let them know, they will bring it out. It is a bit pricey but for how much food you get, you can't go wrong. It is also an experience in itself as you eat with your hands. Vegetarian options are available as well!

I love the food here. Great vegan options and airways plenty to eat. Seems to be unlimited injera, so it's impossible to go hungry. Saba is a sweetheart, very friendly and helpful. There is a bit of a wait from ordering to serving, but that's just a sign that the food is being prepared with care.

This is a fantastic place to eat. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the staff is beyond friendly. It's a unique experience if you've never tried before. I personally enjoyed the white wine, and the egg and chicken sauce!

Always always such a delight and so filling! Be prepared to get your hands dirty as you eat your delicious meat and veggie dishes with a sourdough pancake as your spoon.It's an experience as well as great food!Highly recommend the combo platter just tell them whether you're vegetarian or not and they'll bring you out an amazing meal.

Excellent food. You won't leave hungry. Not a place to go if you are looking for a fast meal. Take your time and enjoy the family experience. Coffee made Sundays or for reserved groups is phenomenal. One of the only places in Saskatoon that I get cravings for.

The best African (Ethiopian) food I've had in Saskatoon. Saba is friendly and can explain or suggest what to order if you ask, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed.

Vegetarian food is amazing and flavorful! Chicken just tastes like roast chicken and it is a small portion so don’t get that. So glad to have this place in Saskatoon. Great for a vegetarian option, you won’t miss be meat.

I had a great experience eating at Saba’s African Cuisine. The food was very good and the staff was very informative and kind when we told them we did not know how to eat the traditional food. There was a young relative of the owner that grabbed our empty plates. Very nice family. :)
