More than 5-stars if possible.We have been coming to this restaurant for decades and the food is exceptionally better than anything published here. The portions are extremely fair, the preparation is extraordinarily timely, and the service is always accommodating. This is the type of establishment where hungry eyes leave with filled bellies and big smiles.

this is a family-friendly restaurant the specialises in Lebanese food. not the just-competent hummus and pita you get elsewhere, though. this is the real deal, made with finesse and,. dare i say, love. everything on the two mezze platters was delicious. and fresh. two platters between four people and we were full and satisfied. i return again and again and it is always great!

True Lebanese home cooking. Everything we got was amazing, delicious and masterfully prepared. Don't be taken aback by the neighborhood or the surrounding building, this place is a germ. Very tentative and friendly service. My usual stop.

Not the Daou we used to know, when the original owner and staff were in charge. Prices are ridiculously high for the amount of food on your plate and the quality. Everything has declined including the way food is prepared, it tastes bland, lack of spices. Meat is not always cooked well or how we asked for it. Lots of fat strands on the meat, for the price we pay we expect higher quality than this. The food is overrated and the service is arrogant at best. In my opinion people who do not know the true taste and quality of Lebanese cuisine, will probably enjoy eating there - their quality standard is low - but those who have eaten good Lebanese food before, you will notice the change. Also terrible location for restaurant in the middle of the hood, area has lot of gangs and in my opinion very unsafe, so be careful.

Great place for Lebanese food! The grilled meat is good but I would concentrate on the entrées because of the depth of them.
