Delicious Egyptian street food, and amazing collection of wine, beers, and ciders from Quebec and beyond. Our food was perfectly spicy, loved the tahini, tomatoes, and meat/beans.. Friendly service!! Just a block away from the market. Def recommend!!

Great beer selection and by far one of the best sandwiches I've ever had (so good that I'm seriously debating a trip to somewhere in Egypt to discover more Egyptian street food!). Friendly and efficient service in a cozy atmosphere! The location is perfect as well (not even a 5 minute walk to the market.

This was our first time trying Egyptian food, so I didn't have any reference to compare their food to.It was different and the quality was not bad but the foul sandwich was too spicy for me. I just could taste the hotness of the food and not different spices, which makes a dish flavorful.

This place is awesome. Huge selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic take away bevvies as well as super tasty food and top notch coffee (and I’m fussy as heck about coffee). And they always play the best tunes! So happy this is in my hood.

Such a nice variety of beers and ciders, some of which you usually don't find in Montreal, amazing! The staff was very friendly.Very cutely decorated.Only 4-5 seats inside, mostly a place for takeout then. Or have a coffee, matcha or chai. You cannot drink alcohol onsite. But it is definitely a good place to make some very specific finds! Perfect for gifts or to impress guests!

The Hawaii is probably my best sandwich in the neighborhood. You need to like it spicy but this is my go-to for sure everytime!The dépanneur part is also very good with a more than decent selection of beer from micro breweries.Staff is always super welcoming.Awesome place!

Found this gem by chance. This cafe/dep sells snacks, wine, artisanal beer, and cooked food to dine in with. We had some Egyptian inspired sandwiches and spices used definitely reminded us of our trip to Egypt. Service is friendly and prices were very cheap. Unfortunately you’re not able to drink the beer or wine on the property it’s only to take home. But overall great experiences, only steps away from Jean Talon market.

The first time we went to @lekaheramtl we were just looking for local cider. Which we found along with many local beers. Once there we realized they also serve Egyptian street food. This makes for a very unique combination which, naturally, was very interesting to us. So we tried a lunch there and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will need to go back to try more of the menu at this fascinating café.

Lovely little spot, super close to Jean Talon market. I had the Hawawshi for breakfast. No regrets. Will be back to try everything else eventually, every time I'm back in Montreal.
