Looking at past reviews it’s clear there are many fake reviews, 14 reviews from only “Matthew” today alone as well as duplicate comments from different names. Suspect. Food was pricey for small portions. Waitstaff were pushy in terms of ordering and service was subpar. Food was good but expensive for the size of the portion. $34 for a cocktail is ridiculous. Make sure you specify you want tap water otherwise they will bring you a $6 bottle of still water

Classic case of getting fooled by a cute Instagram reel promoting Farzi Cafe.As mentioned by several previous reviews... No point of reservations you will have to wait even if you have reserved and God forbid if you are late then expect a wait of 30-40 mins. We were made to sit at the bar and were offered a table after 30mins and several pleads. Those Vedic/ Horoscope cocktails are okay taste wise but overpriced like crazy. And our host tried to upsell everything and gave useless recommendations all targeted to raise our bill. The food was okay with focus just on presentation with average quality and taste. The price does not justify the quantity and quality of food at all.To top it all we were wrongly overcharged for three food items (highlighted in the bill pic) and were rushed to pay and move out due to '90 min at table policy' so couldnt even contest the overcharge. Realized it when we returned home. All 5 star reviews are fake. Will never return and this gimmicky place is not recommended at all. And if you still visit Please check the bill before you leave. Do not trust them at all.

Customer experience needs improvement. There were so many things that went wrong here that could be easily avoided. We were given bottled water without the waiter telling us it costs $6. I assumed it would've been tap water when we asked for water but by the time we realized what was happening he had already opened the bottle and poured it out. It was so sneaky. The second thing that happened was that one of the glasses was dirty. I was drinking the water and felt a small piece of hard food in my mouth. Unfortunately looking into the glass I saw more floating pieces of food. We asked the waiter to change the glass and the $6 water that was in that glass was wasted. He didn't ask if we wanted more water to replace the one that was wasted. To top it off he literally gave us another dirty cup to replace the dirty cup. We mentioned it to him and we finally got a clean cup. Next was the cutlery, I'm being picky about this but my partner and I were given a different type of fork for some reason. It was odd to see this inconsistency in cutlery. The only good thing was that the food was good, I'm not an expert in Indian food but it tasted good to me. The garlic naan was very fresh. If someone is going to pay their price point you would think they would get the basics down. I didn't mind it was dirty in the first place, what I did mind was the lack of empathy for us. They did the bare minimum and if it was a cheaper restaurant then I wouldn't be posting about this, but the fact is a place that charges $6 for bottled water without telling you means they're supposed to have good service. This place doesn't cut it.

This place has got a phenomenal vibe. Music is great and mostly Indian. The presentation is unique and you don't generally see that in most Indian restaurants. If you are here on your birthday, you can order a special drink which is presented to you with some mini fireworks and all. The portions are very small and you will need to order at least 3 dishes for 2 people and the food is a bit expensive compared to the rest of the market. But you are paying for the place and the ambience it offers. Food tasted good

Pathetic experience and service. Need to stop upselling food options and need to start being genuine in their recommendations. The place is really over hyped and does not deserve the attention. Cleanliness and hygiene is zero considering the efforts they put in presentation when it can be simply called paid entertainment using food. The servers tend to use the tongs (that they casually put on the table surface rather than a plate) to handle ice and drinks without gloves, did not see a single server cleaning the tables with disinfectant. On top of that, servers are not very transparent about the menu and the portion size. Also, they should really take reservations seriously unless they do not know what it means.Honestly not worth recommending!

I spotted this place in the Food District and decided to try it out with some friends. We got the curry ramen as an appetizer which was excellent - very creamy and full of flavour. For entrees, we got the CTM And Chicken Tikka Masala, Mutton Irrachi Pepper Fry, Hand Pulled Butter Chicken and another mutton dish. They were all okay, the mutton dishes were a little tough and the curry was average. The butter chicken and chicken tikka masala were good but you can never go wrong with these dishes. The atmosphere was really nice and aesthetic however the service was REALLY slow and it took a long time for the waiter to come and take our order/give us the bill. Everything was a bit pricey and some things we’re kinda gimmicky.

Overhyped and overpriced food with complimentary atrocious customer service. Be prepared to wait for 40-45 minutes after ordering and while you are having your food no one will come ask if you need anything. They also will not provide you an option of having tap water but will charge you for bottle of distilled or sparkling water.

It's definitely worth trying! If you like your Indian food elevated with a sensory experience, you should go! Pricey, but you get a very awesome experience locally in Mississauga. Great service, amazing atmosphere, and I was able to enjoy with my 1.5 year old. She enjoyed her fries and rice.

Hey guys, I went today to this place with my friends, Farzi Cafe, for brunch. It's busier on the weekends. I didn't reserve a table in advance, so we had to wait there for about 10 minutes for the table to be available. The atmosphere and the ambiance were amazing. The chair I was sitting on was uncomfortable (for me at least, you may not feel same), but the food was delicious, especially the unique Pani Puri (see photos, the one with fog/smoke). The drink I had was Kapha (coconut drink). It tasted like sweet lassi (if you know what Lassi is, you know what I am talking about). For the main course, we ordered Kali Mirchi Chicken with lachha parantha. It was so tender and creamy. It tasted good.At last, for dessert, we had Shahi Tukda (mango ice cream with rabdi and gulab jamun). It wasn't too sweet, which is a good thing for me, at least. The only thing I don't like is that it's too expensive for the portion size of food.Overall, I liked this place.
