A good tour if you can climb down then up 500 steps. Great history.

Gorgeous place, but WHAT tours? I haven't seen that in operation in the 7 yrs I've known about the mine...

I love the driving in sunshine valley along the Highway 3 from Hope - Princeton- Osoyoos, one of the Most Spectacular Drives in BC

Wish I could go up and explore the mine! One of my all time favourite places to stop and stretch the legs for sure.

A little hidden gem with lots of history to tell. The at producing mine in North America m.The movies section is nice too to learn about how the town could be turned into any other American village

This is an undiscovered and underrated gem of an attraction. If you’re a travel addict, you would love this place (and the hike up to the mine houses at the very top of the mountain). Unfortunately we arrived just a bit after closing time, but the museum guy saw us wondering around and we talked a bit. Even in the brief history he gave us, it was fascinating to learn about the history of the place and think of the engineering that went into the construction (starting 1903 on a really steep mountain) of the two mines. Mindblowing. It’s a shame more people don’t stop by. The town itself is down to 240 people from 700 at its peak, but we saw some really cute and artsy houses, so even just walking around was idyllic.

Loved everything about this State Park. Was breathtaking. Highly recomended. ❤

Visited this place twice and loved it, lot of steep stairs but the view is amazing. Nice touch with allowing to go inside the mine.
