They overcharged us £8. Tried to charge £54.30 instead of £46.30. It wasn’t until splitting the bill and calculating it that we realised (after we had paid) they had overcharged us. Order a mild coconut creamy South Indian dish which had no coconut flavour or creamy ness about it, it was very tomatoey and extremely spicy but there was no mention of chilli on the menu I like some that showed whether it was mild, medium or hot. I found a hole chilli in it. Very annoying as I don’t like spicy food. Still trying to eat it at 11pm. My friend had ordered a Jafriezi which isn’t normally too bad either but that was inedible as well. Think the chef here is chilli happy. Makes it up enjoyable when you can’t taste anything because it is too spicy and all tastes the same. I had to put mine back in a pan and add coconut cream to make it taste how it sounded on the menu but even that was still too spicy.

Father's day evening and the restaurant was pretty busy. There were only 3 servers working, two who seemed to do very little and one who was run off his feet. It took 20 minutes to be given a menu. We ordered a starter and a main, I can't remember when the starter arrived, but it was over an hour and a half from when we went in, to when the main course was served. When it did arrive, there were no serving spoons, so I had to go and hunt for them. With the exception of the one person who seemed to be doing most of the work, the other two staff had little concept of customer service. The decor is not the most pleasant and the whole place could be doing with a refurbishment. The food itself was fairly good but I doubt I will go there again. I do not like giving bad reviews so will end on a positive note. The food is good. One server done his best to give good customer service. Other people liked the restaurant as it was very busy.

Delicious curries. Set meal for £13.95 for a starter and a main was good. Service was a little slow on a Tuesday weeknight, but understand there was a staff short that day. Food more than made up for it though!

I would say the service was bad, but that would mean they would actually need to provide some sort of service. Booked a table, stood at the entrance for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Was seated, another 10 minutes until a drinks order was placed, no food menu, waitress had been at our table 3 times, still no menu offered. A waiter serving other tables noticed and gave us some menus. When we finally got to place our order, the waitress was just miserable, no manners, no friendliness, nothing, when ordering a dish, she just said, we don’t have that, and actually looked really annoyed at having to wait for us to choose something else. The noise levels in here are horrendous, the lack of service is disgusting. At this rate I don’t even care if the food is amazing, we won’t be back and I would actually discourage anyone thinking about coming here.

Ordered online at 4.45 to be delivered at 5,45…. 6. 10 called restaurant who advised they had no record of my order .. and would call me back in 5 mins.. 20 minutes later I called them back.. and they advised that their printer wasn’t working and therefore the order hadn’t been sent to the kitchen.. … 6.50 still waiting … needless to say , funds were taken from my account within 2 mins of the order being placed , informed our food will 10 mins to prep and will be delivered within 20 mins …still waiting … first time ordered from here after a recommendation… NOT impressed .. 7.10 .. food still not here ..despite being only 15 mins away from restaurant… this restaurant allegedly is one of the the best Indian restaurants in Dunfermline.. perhaps their food is good… when it eventually arrives. But their service is awful… still waiting ……..called again… will be her in 8 mins … still waiting … and ‘next time I call, I will be given a discount ‘ ………sadly given the service… I won’t get my discount as I will not be ordering from them again… 10 mins gone … still waiting eventually arrived.. standard food.. not bad.. but not great .. samosas soggy .. with thick heavy batter.. the best I can say .. is that the rice was ok

Great food, don't order online.Thought they'd got their heads round online ordering via their website after several visits to find they hadn't even noticed.But no, tonight despite booking a slot 45 minutes ahead they don't even know what I've ordered.But they've taken the money.Now over an hour late.Can't wait for Cloud9 (formerly basil) to reopen. In the meantime go to the Everest, they'll have it ready in 20 minutes.

Staff very welcoming, food was delicious and plenty of it we even took a little home, the lime pickle is the best I've ever tasted, lovely Korma for the wife I had garlic chilli chicken it was fab would definitely go back if we are in Dunfermline again thanks
