The items in the shop are good quality, and fairly priced. The owners are just simply amazing people, and always there to assist you with finding something in store, or can help do online orders. 2nd Gear is ALWAYS worth a trip to Ayr

Stopped by 2nd Gear in the summer when I was looking for motorcycle luggage for my bike. The owner was super friendly, got back to me right away, and I spent nearly 30 mins speaking with her at the store. The selection at the shop is amazing. Everything is clean and in amazing condition. There's even a small shop in the back where they detail bikes. Will definitely be stopping by again in the spring to pick up some new gear. Why pay full price when you can save money and support a local business at the same time?

2nd Gear is amazing!As someone new to the hobby of motorcycles I was a little apprehensive about getting the gear I need. I was very pleased with the experience I had at 2nd Gear.The owner is helpful, kind, and patient. Good selection of used motorcycle gear to purchase, or sell your own gear on consignment. The employee I dealt with (may have even been the owner, I'm not sure) took my info and a description of the items I am looking for so she can keep an eye out.There is no other shop like this one in the area. Great business!

Great little shop! Pretty decent selection of gear for both men and women (some limitations on sizes because it's used gear), even some kids stuff. Prices are fair, and the lady working there is very nice too. I will definitely be a return customer

Very cool store. Lots of gear. Well worth the drive to Ayr.It's owned by a passionate motorcyclist that works hard at giving back to charities .We purchased a nice ladies leather jacket today.

Great little shop! Staff was friendly and good selection of clothes and riding gear. They even took the time to play with my daughter and motorcycle Lego! Highly recommend this shop.
