Very good Indian restaurant. It is a bit pricy, but the food they serve tasted real delicious Indian food. The portion seemed larger than that of other restaurant, so visiting in a group and share dishes would be fun. If you are a person who do not usually much, be careful. Just a nan might make you full. Anyway, I really enjoyed the dinner there.

Had lunch at the Host and was quite happy with the selections. The interior was comfortable and service was prompt. A great little restaurant to have a quick bite for authentic Indian food.

Five of us visited this restaurant on Valentines day. We were very well received and were offered a table of our choice. We choose lunch buffet. Firstly I would like to comment about the food. There were a few veg starters and good variety of non veg starters. Samosas were very oily, fish starter was salty, and all the items were not hot. chats and soup were just ok. Main course was horrible .Some tasteless rice was served . Only fresh thing available was roti. To top it up desserts were pathetic . that was probably the worst Rasmali ever. Even Ice creams tasted horrible. I couldn't dare to taste gulab jamun and kheer after the bad experience.Secondly hygiene was an issue. plastic plates and bowls were used. They didn't look good and hygienic.Ambience was good. Their lunch buffet is expensive for what they have served. They had limited options and food tasted really bad. I would not recommend this restaurant.

One of our favourite Indian restaurants in the GTA (and anywhere) ...Delicious freshly made naans of all types - we really love the garlic naans. Wide range of vegetarian and fish dishes. Favourites include the aloo Gobi, navrattan curried veggies and tandoori mushrooms (appetizer). The mullegetawany soup (lentils) can be ordered vegetarian. A wide range of appetizers - samosas, pakoras etc., are available. For dessert, the gulab jamon is delicious. Try it with a chai masala tea. The cost can add up if there are only 2 or 3 people and you eat a variety of dishes. It is cheaper and more fun if a bunch of people share a range of dishes. Service is quite good and the restaurant has a really nice feel to it. Lots of parking available and a decent selection of wine, beer and other alcohol. One of our go-to" places."

Came here after 6 years since trying their butter chicken and naan at the Mississauga location, happy to say they've upkept their standards and it's still as delicious! Also tried the chicken trio platter and all the kebabs were delicious! The servers were very attentive and kind as well ☺️

This was our first time to have Indian cuisine in Markham. We were glad that we had picked this restaurant. The service we received was exceptional. Their food was amazingly good, we especially loved their naan and veggie curry, eggplant in tangy sauce.

The decor and ambiance was great. But food and service was just average, nothing special. Price was decent , $22 for lunch. 3.5 stars. Can’t recommend.

If you are in GTA and missing Indian food or want to try some, The Host is your best bet. One of the best places to have Indian food with a lot of variety and amazing taste.They also provide catering and give an extensive menu to choose from.Please see below some of the mouth watering dishes served.
