Cornerstone Concrete

My experience with CornerStone Concrete was amazing. I have NEVER met contractors who were so eager to please! They went out of their way to make sure my job was the most important job they had, and were super polite, honest and sincere. I almost gave up on my dream of a stamped patio due to the cost from other companies. I’m so glad that I contacted CornerStone Concrete. Albert gave me a fair price and went above and beyond every expectation that I had. I now have the stamp patio of my dreams! I am planning to have CornerStone Concrete do some more work for me in the near future!

The workmanship was outstanding. The men worked so extremely hard and solved problems that arose due to our rocky and tree rooted terrain. Communicated well with us on their progress. They went above and beyond for us. Absolutely wonderful!

Albert, the owner of Cornerstone Concrete, did a phenomenal job for us for our concrete slab for our patio. After 10 months of frustration with another contractor, we decided to cut our losses and I contacted Cornerstone Concrete, spoke with Albert, and he was able to get us leveled and poured within a week. I was very impressed with his attention to detail, promptness and quality of work. I would recommend him to anyone and will use him for future projects going forward.

We own a hotel in downtown Bucksport, Maine and had an unfortunate event... a very large retaining wall cap (about 45 feet of it, parts of it graduating to 15'18' off the ground) had, over 20 + years of time, begun to separate from the wall and had to be removed. Albert, the Owner of Cornerstone Concrete, was one of several businesses I interviewed for the job. From the outset, he was prompt, enthusiastic, very nice, knowledgable and very reasonable and was willing to take this job, despite it not being in his area of expertise (retaining walls, I have learned are essentially a specialty and few want to deal with them). But Albert saw the issue that had created this in the first place and had an EXCELLENT plan to fix it...truly fix it, which involved a lot of hard work, cutting below the break line, cleaning up the mess, then rebuilding this monstrous cap and taking on the challenges that came with it, including the seemingly impossible task of building vertical forms and installing hardware to ensure this would last. Even when a part of this very difficult job had a small issue, Albert delayed a trip with family to make certain things came out right. He and his crew fixed the small issue and then came back and went performed the rest of the work per contract to make the wall look perfect, but Albert went WELL ABOVE AND BEYOND the contract (after blending the new cap with the old wall, he added extra work to the job (painting this wall) but he wanted the entire basement of the building to match this newly painted wall, so the job would have that extra bit of perfection....AND THAT IT DOES! His work came out better than expected and on time despite the slight delay and the extra work. We have received multiple compliments on the newly repaired wall and our guest safety and aesthetic look have been restored. I quite literally cannot say enough about Albert and his crew. Their work is second to none and I will recommend them time and again to anyone with a need for concrete work! Excellent work, excellent character, efficient, on time and schedule and very reasonably priced! I have owned hotels for 20 + years and deal with contractors constantly. Albert and his crew stand high above most!
