Restoration of Art

Denise is an experienced painting conservator who has masteredpainting conservation in Florence, Italy. She is a very nice personand puts a lot of love and care into paintings. I highlyrecommend her service.

I have just had a large canvas restored by Denise. It has been in my family for over 100 years, hanging in the family hotel in downtown Vancouver in 1900, and was covered in smoke particulates, darkening the surface and obscuring the detail. The frame no longer supported the canvas and had major cosmetic damage as well. Denise has cleaned and restored it to the showpiece that it once was. I will be sending another precious old canvas to her soon. I cannot recommend her highly enough, she works wonders.

Denise is great! I've used her services on three occasions, twice for painting restorations (one for a valuable old master painting), and once for a consultation prior to a purchase which saved me about $2000. She thinks carefully about her restoration decisions and relays any options to the client. The results have always been excellent.
