Great staff and great products. Way better than bigger stores like Cabelas. These boys use what they sell and will give you the tips and tricks you need to slay fish.

Saw all the bad reviews complaining about the old man but he gave my bf and me some good advice about salmon fishing. So idk maybe they were just rude but i quite enjoyed talking with him! Didnt even seem to mind my bfs motor mouth LOL

I went in for new line on my new Islander reel. Good information and help was there for the asking.

All bad... lied to TODAY about phone calls to manager ..all staff apparently forgot my 4 phone calls and the manager Tony..denied anyone knowing anything.. ...about my consignment and my coming to reclaIm my property ..with a valid ATT...the result is .. I am out of luck and been cheated.. bad business in that place ..AND Tony hung up ... big grudge..STAY CLEAR of that spot

I've almost always had great service here, until today. I went in to get a fishing license I was waiting in like a not really line but I was the next person at the counter. An older guy became free, however there was another guy that came in after me that he clearly wanted to help. I understand in customer service you don't always see who is next in so I didnt care that he called the other guy up first. But anyway I walk walk up because I was next and his entire demeanor changed from happy to what looked like angry. As he was helping me he was happily talking to the guy that was after me. Prior to helping me he seemed super friendly to the guy he was helping. I tried to make friendly conversation but he completely shut it down. Just bad customer service from this one guy, from what I can tell from other reviews he's sexist and is rude to mainly female customers. Didn't realize women can't fish in 2020. All the other workers are good. As well, there wasn't any social distancing either, and there was a sign asking to use sanitizer before entering but it was empty.

Great variety and selection of various hunting and wildlife products. Very knowledgeable staff.

I am isiting for a few weeks for work. I asked staff were i can go catch salmon they said no were its all closed. I went to another store they gave me the info i was looking for

It is really sad there aren't more fishing stores like this anymore. They have staff who actually have knowledge about the fishing in the area and they are willing to help you instead of making excuses why they can't or because they know nothing. The store is small, but it is cool. They have a giant chinook on display outside. The inside of store is visibly very neat. They have it packed full of cool lures and sales on rods at the best price they can give without bankrupting themselves. When I first moved here I knew nothing about ocean fishing and one of the employees spent about two hours telling me about his experiences. Nice little fishing store!

my experience at gone fishing has been great! great staff and i have found that price on any comparable model firearm, rod, or other gear has been better then the larger stores. so much so that i don't deal with anyone else anymore.
