Glen Shields FC

I have been with two soccer clubs and Glen shields is my second. My son has been with Glen Shields since 2011. Unless the coach plans to leave, I would never have a reason to leave the club. My son enjoys every second of each practice, training, game or event with his coach and his team. Glen Shields has brought my son only positive experiences. Knowing all this, my youngest then attended a two-day camp event and couldn’t stop talking about how he wanted to go back and be part of it all. So now both my children want nothing more but to be part of Glen Shields every step of the way. I can’t express how grateful my family is to have Glen Shields (2005 & 2010 boys) coach and role model. He provides the positive encouragement and support that is needed for my children’s and the team’s development. GO GFC!!

The lady in the office who usually takes calls lost 4 stars alone, horribly rude. They don't care about House League at all. Hard to get any information.

Very disorganized house league program, the kids are not taught any skills and there is no coach - so if one of the parents does not step up the kids are left with no clue what to do. Do not waste your time or money on this club, it was a complete waste of $250. If I could give this zero stars I would.

Highly competitive Rep program. We’ve been with the club for 15 years! All three of my kids have had great coaches and trainers and have developed excellent work ethics on and off the field. It’s not just a club, it’s family to us :)

Horrible experience. U7-9 program extremely disorganized. No coaches for the first month and no developmental skills as promised given. Attempted over three weeks to contact without a response. When office finally reached they they were rude and said we would see how things work out. Do not recommend this program.

This is the 2nd soccer club my son's been with, and we are very happy with the decision to join Glen Shields FC. Both my son and I love coach Paul's coaching style and methods, where my son's soccer skills and knowledge has greatly improved since joining Glen Shields. Not only that, but the program has a structure that is very well organized, but most importantly, it has a coaching staff that really does care about its players both on and off the pitch, which is personally very important to me. Even during the pandemic when we were unable to practice, the coaches set up weekly zoom team meetings in order to have the team stay connected with one another, which I strongly believe can transcend into better teamwork on the pitch once things open up. The list of positive things about the club goes on and on, but one thing for sure is that we are really glad to be part of Glen Shields FC, which is really like a family.

My son has been playing soccer at Glen Shields for over 6 years. He started when he was 5 and we haven’t left since. Their entire program is fantastic, the coaching is top level not only on a soccer stand point but also because they spend time learning about our kids to help them both in soccer and in their growth as individuals. (They truly care)Truly recommend anyone looking to start up in soccer or looking to change programs to really give Glen Shields an opportunity because you will not be disappointed .

My son has made great progress since joining this club. He has played elsewhere and what makes the difference at Glen Shields is the excellent coaching. It has formed a group of skilled and disciplined players, who are supportive of each other and respectful to their opponents.

Worst soccer program. Waste of 250. Do not register in this club!

You never get any information when a game is cancelled for house league.
