I had an Septoplasty surgery for DNS done by this doctor last November. I would agree with everyone that he doesn’t talk much. He keeps it to the point or less. During my surgery he had mentioned that bones have memory and my DNS might come back and it did but it turned worse now for the last 4 months Ive been feeling like I have stuffed nose.Edit - My breathing gradually worsened and I simply can’t breathe properly anymore. It is causing tremendous amount of stress and anxiety all the time. I am back to running behind finding a doctor for a referral who can do his job correct.

**warning do not go to Doctor Planet, him and his staff are falsely booking appointments to make money from the cancellation fees*** I had breathing issues due to a break in my nose during my childhood years. I was referred to Doctor Planet and read the reviews, but since the wait list wasn’t so long I decided to go ahead with the doctor. He wasn’t reassuring he didn’t explain my treatment options very well and I felt generally uneasy about everything. I decided to go with the septoplasty after some coaxing from my wife. The surgery seemed to go well, but I am still congested a month out and have no improvement with breathing in my right nostril. Secondly, the receptionist has booked appointments for me without following up to confirm so that I have missed my appointments. She used to call me to confirm and now she does not. She even wrote an appointment on a card for me the day after the appointment was scheduled . After the surgery she did exactly the same thing for booking my follow up appointment. She also claimed that I needed to go to the appointment at the hospital which I wasn’t informed of. She claimed that the booking was my fault even though I had accurately set up a google calendar the moment we were speaking over the phone. She wouldn’t book me another appointment unless I paid the 50 dollar late fee. I left this office without a follow up appointment for my surgery and will never go back. This isn’ a doctor or his administration are interested in bettering the health of their patients. They are in it to gain as much money as they can on the backs of Canadian tax payers. Avoid this doctor and office at all costs!!!!!

Dr. Planet has been nothing but professional at every meeting. On time and extremely efficient.

My daughter was referred to Dr. Planet and she ended up needing a tonsillectomy.Dr. Planet was great in all interactions at his office and gave all the pros and cons of the surgery so that we, as parents, could make an informed decision.He was very kind and gave clear directions both before and after the surgery at CHEO, taking the time to answer any questions or concerns I had.

Didn't have the opportunity to have an appointment with Dr. Planet after being given a referral by another doctor who referred me after careful inspection of my symptoms. After looking at my fax after trying for months to get the referral faxed, Planet declined my referral without explanation. Upon phoning their office to follow up, I was shocked to find out that my referral had been rejected. I guess Dr. Planet doesn't have the intelligence or credentials to help someone with a nasal breathing problem causing severe snoring and discomfort. Reading his pathetic reviews it all makes sense.

I don't get any of the negative reviews. Dr Planet is one of the best doctors I have had the privilege to meet. He is always on time, gives you the time you need, asks questions and runs most of the tests himself so you get instant results. Not to mention his office staff are also on point.After doing a scope he suggested a treatment, he then also recommended that we do a follow up in 2 months. Without fail, his office contacted me and gave me an appointment at the 2 month mark. We went over everything again and before ending the appointment he asked do you have any other issues or concerns I can help with". I mean come on

Rude. Dismissive. Seemed really peeved I pronounced his name in English instead of French. Everything the other reviews have already stated. I wish I had gone for the septoplasty with any other Doctor. I wish I had questioned why his wait times were so much shorter than everywhere else. Now I have to start the process over because my septum is still deviated, extremely uncomfortable, and I can no longer breath from my nose at all unless I physically pull my septum over. Don’t be fooled by his confidence. See someone else.

This sad narcissistic individual does not deserve to be called a doctor. After waiting forever in a completely empty office with no other patients he just looked at me and aggressively stabbed me in the ear then coldly told me to go see my family doctor. My family dr is the one who referred me there! My ear is now even worse and I believe he is a danger to society and should be avoided and uncovered at all cost.

I did not read reviews before my appointment and wish I had. I agree with every 1 star comment. I would give this guy a 0. I went with my almost 5yo son, I assumed he was good with kids, but he made zero effort to connect with my son, nothing to try to create a quick rapport and trust with him. No manners. No compassion. Walks in masked and those big glasses on (scary for kids!), barely introduces himself to us. Down to business and no patience. The clinic and room are sterile and empty. Not comforting for kids at all. This doc made no effort to cooperate with my son. Felt de-humanized, like a number and cashing in on 5min (and that’s generous!) appointments. Like a conveyor belt. Nothing was accomplished, I walked out crying and upset that no accommodation was made for little kids, who after all the covid tests these kids have gone through in the past 2.5 years, I understand why my son would be nervous and skeptical! At least take 2 minutes to explain and connect with the kid?! If you have small kids, avoid! What a waste of time. I’ll be asking my family doc for another specialist.
