The Dressy Attic

While I did go dress shopping at a few traditional stores I knew from the start that I did not want to spend more than $1000 on my wedding dress. That being said, I also love lace and full skirts, and I didn’t want to shop online without seeing the fabric in person so off to The Dressy Attic I went! The sisters who run this consignment dress business are the absolute sweetest. I brought 4 people with me and we had a lovely area set up with comfortable chairs/couches, a changeroom, and perfectly positioned mirrors to see every angle. They were so patient and let me try on at least 10 dresses. The dress I ultimately chose had the softest tulle and such a beautiful cascading lace design and was well under budget. The Dressy Attic has now moved from Abbotsford to Chilliwack and is absolutely worth the drive!

Made an appointment last minute for my daughter to look at a few prom dresses. Our experience here was amazing. My daughter and I left with smiles on our faces.

I had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend visiting (even if you’re making the slightly longer trip from Vancouver). The gowns were so beautiful and in great condition at the right price for the quality. These were far far superior to what you’d see at a sample sale as they are so well curated and taken car of. The dressing room (a full, spacious room) is also perfect for trying on and seeing how the dresses look and Alessandra was so welcome and professional.

These two lovely ladies are such a pleasure to do business with. I brought them my dress from my first marriage and we’re very fair with pricing. I am getting married again in a few months and was able to find my dream dress with them last year for a very very reasonable price. They also recommended a couple of seamstresses to take my dress to for alterations so I didn’t have to do research and look for ones myself.The atmosphere they provide is calm and welcoming. The customer service was awesome, the owner had already figured out what dresses would fit based off my measurements so she had a few already set aside for me to try on. The first one I tried on was the one". Even better- they had the perfect veil! Was able to get the dress & veil for under $800!! Would highly recommend checking them out if you are looking to buy a dress for a wedding or prom!!"

The whole experience at The Dressy Attic was fantastic! Having the opportunity to look through the online gallery and pick out some of my favorites before my appointment was nice. The shop is in a very cute 1920's house with tons of charm and Alessandra was very knowledgeable and helpful. This place should be on your list for trying on dresses!

Super helpful staff, found colours, sizes and shapes of dresses that were super flattering for a variety of people.The entrance to the house is up a few stairs and there is A gravel parking right outside the store
