CIBC Branch with ATM

Need to get a bank account set up a bank account for my new business guy didn’t know how to set it up so said he would talk to the manager and call me that night or in the morning that’s Tuesday it’s Fri still nothing only appointment was in middle of the day so cost me $500 in wages and I can’t bill customer until the account is set up and I have $12,000 on my credit card for materials that I can’t get until the bank does there job worst experience with a bank I have ever had

Poor customer service. Victor asked me to visit bank at a certain time and he and everyone was busy when I went there. Someone attended me so I was grateful for that but later it turns in to disappointment as it took 45 mins with no result. I will have to take a hard decision to move to another bank after 5 years spent with CIBC. BTW I went there for smart account and safe deposit box.

You would think that a financial advisor would know what the products CIBC offers are? I had to show him what I wanted to open on the CIBC website. And all the staff were rude and had no social skills. I would've probably had an easier time if I started speaking to them in Russian.

Went to this location after work as it said it was open until 5pm. Girl at front said teller services are only open 10am until 3pm, how useless is that?

Staff were impolite, unhelpful and unprofessional. Not surprised to see all the the poor ratings. I receive a more professional experience at a local conscience store. Seriously questioning my judgment to do business with this bank. Would give Zero stars if possible.

Zero Ownership of my issue. Went to this branch to understand why there was a hold on funds (deposited April 19 this is now May 19), counter person could not help. Sent me to manager who was busy and had to call me. Manager called had no material information to answer my question, then tried to send me to an 800 line to get answers. Seriously, basically Sonny (? Sp) just didn’t want to own my problem, was it too much work or perhaps no revenue in it for him? I called the person that wrote the cheque, it cleared their account April 21, they even sent me a screen shot. Called Sonny again who now tells me could be multiple intermediary banks and it takes time. And again, offered to give me an 800 line. I guess I should not be surprised, why would he help when no $$ in it for the bank.

Terrible customer service at this branch. Left several messages for someone to call me so I could arrange a meeting about a time sensitive matter but no one called me back. Made a special trip to the branch to try to deal with the matter but was told I would have to make an appointment at least 2 weeks out. The one teller was rude and put up a sign and rudely said I am closed. I have been a customer of this bank for 50 years. The one time I need their help this is how I am treated. Will be shopping around

The staff were pleasant to deal with and made my visit a short one as they were quick and efficient. I've dealt with CIBC for many years now and have overall been happy with the service. This location was clean and well located close to Oxford road. Would visit again in the future.

These guys take banking hours to do the extreme closing at three in the afternoon great bank if you’re retired or don’t have a job.

I was having a bad day with the Costco CIBC mastercard.I had to visit twice this branch due to the misguidance from the representatives over the phone. They were about to close when I got here (like three minutes to close). But when I arrived at another branch on the same day, the teller had 15 minutes to close but he took care of (9 customers inclusing me) all the customer's need with paitence and professional courtesy. I wish that the people at this branch learn from him, instead of refusing to provide the service.
