My wife and I did the 10km hike and it was a beautiful scenic loop. Gorgeous scenery and lovely forest area. The beach and hike was amazing and we really enjoyed our time.

Beaver Lake
Did the Beaver Lake section of the Elk/Beaver Lake trail with my mom, it was super enjoyable!More of a nature walk than a hike, no hills (that I remember) and took less than an hour. Lots of really nice scenery and lake views. Wasn’t busy at all (weekday day time).We’ll be back for the full 10km trail someday!

Although I didn’t see any beavers I still had a great time. Hopefully there’s Elk at the neighbouring lake.

Open air park with jogging path. People seeking fitness exercise from a slow stroll to moderate running pace. Some walking their dogs on a leash while enjoying the parks scenery. Children under the watchful eyes of parents releasing energy in play or chasing each other. Romantic couples holding hands spending time together.Concession stands are closed until summer arrives.Lake waters still cold to sample for a swim.

You can't swim in this lake anymore and dogs drinking the water get sick because its full of bacteria now, its nice to walk around and enjoy the view, just don't go in

Beautiful and calming. Beautiful tree shade for hot summer weather.Play area for kids.Parking is available.Good for family and quiet lake.

The lake and area around the park are fantastic. Great trails and very scenic around the whole area. Good for pets and off leash or if you'd like a jog or a walk it's a very nicely looked after place for all your relaxation needs. Had a great day would go back for sure and will be there another day.
