Penny's Deli

Wife and I were out antiquing through Harriston yesterday. I really just wanted a nice sandwich for lunch. What a pleasure it was to find the newly opened Penny's Deli - and open on a Sunday no less. We had one chicken schnitzel and one sausage sandwich - with choice of toppings - and boy, did they fit the bill - exactly what I was after. Can't wait for our next visit to Harriston to stop in again and see what else they have to offer!

Harriston needs more businesses like this. I've been wanting a good deli in town for awhile so was excited to try it. Great interior and food. I had a summer sausage sandwich and a coffee. Will definitely be back to support a local family-owned business.Edit: I have been coming to Penny's at least once a week since I found it. Brought my brother and mom for a coffee and some food and they enjoyed it. I hope people in Minto come check it out to support a new business. There are enough chain restaurants, we need to get back to our grassroots with independent eateries filling our neighbourhood.

Penny's Deli is a wonderful place to stop for lunch for the family! My 3 year old daughter loved the schnitzel sandwich and her chocolate chip cookie (which was huge)!! I had the homemade cabbage soup and a fresh blueberry muffin (also huge!) which was so delicious and filling for a rainy day! The owners were so friendly and made us feel at home! The prices are also hard to beat. We will definitely be back to try out more the next time we are in Harriston! Thank you!!! (I also got a coffee for the road which was excellent! Thanks again)!

So so delicious!! Super fresh and quality items. Reasonably priced. Definitely worth the stop!
