I've been a patient for over 20 years, the doctor I had been seeing retired and a temporary replacement was provided. Unfortunately this replacement couldn't stay in the office so all of these patients got the boot from the office. I understand that this happened and things happen but what really left a sour taste in my mouth was when I called to obtain the information to transfer my medical records to a new doctor the woman on the phone was rude and short. She did not listen to the question s I asked and seemed just annoyed I was calling. It's a difficult time for people to find doctors especially ones willing to take 2 patients. I recommend the staff take a class on how to speak to people in a kind manner especially when dealing with difficult situations. What a bad way to end what had really been a pleasant experience.

Dr. Kayleigh Da is a very kind, attentive, knowledgable and professional GP. She was very thorough, helpful and made me feel very comfortable upon my initial visit. She even followed up with me and baby even though I was seeing a different specialist which shows she really practices patient centered care to the level that you don't often see in health care. Dr. Da really takes the time to demonstrate her strong and current skills in her field. We feel extremely lucky have found such an amazing GP and feel safe in her care for the future.

I just got a letter saying my GP (Laura Gordon) is downsizing her practice, I need to find a new GP by October 15th, and I’m being charged for copies of my medical records, “as low as $37.50 and never exceeds $85.00 per record.” Dr. Holman was my GP for as long as I can remember and now I need to find a new one when practically none are available. I’ve never been charged for copies of my chart before and I’ve never been “let go” as a patient. I’m in awe of they’re horrible disregard for patients.

I was a patient of Dr Holman for 30 years. When she retired we were told no problem, the replacement Dr Gordon was going to take over the practice and things would continue on. Low and behold come August we were sent a letter being kicked out of her practice. She is focusing on specific groups IE: Seniors, I guess where the $$ is at. Not that the receptionists at this place have been any good for a very long time anyway, always rude and condescending like they have better things to do with their time other than take your call. Not only were we kicked out" of her practice we were told there would be some ridiculous fee to obtain our files. Now

Dr. Kayleigh Da is a FANTASTIC GP. She is efficient yet empathetic and did not make me feel rushed at all, even though we had many things to cover on our initial visit. She has excellent bedside manners. As someone who also works in healthcare, I was extremely impressed with the thoroughness of her assessments. She stays up to date with current health guidelines, which is very important to me. She is also now the GP of my newborn daughter and I have to say that I was really impressed by how well she interacted with her! She keeps the patient at the centre of her care and I could not ask for a better GP.The phone lines to the clinic are having issues so it is best to book appointments online instead. All the staff are pleasant in the clinic as well, which is a bonus.

I am very disappointed with my old doctors office, to say the least. My doctor there retired and the Dr. who took her practice, Dr. Laura Gordon. She just sent me and my son a letter saying she can no loner be our family physician. (we started going there when my son was born 15 yrs now) Also stating that if I would like my medical records sent to a new Dr. I would have to pay a minimum of $ 37.50 or as high as $ 85.00 per record! SHE DROPPED ME AS A PATIENT why should i now have to pay? I cannot afford that as with everyone right now struggling to have food on the table. I am very upset with DR Laura Gordon!! My old Dr. never made me pay for anything as she knew I am on permeant disability. Shame on you Dr. Gordon

Unfortunately I’m writing this message out of pure frustration. Dr. Holman was our previous family doctor and we adored her and the care that she provided to our young family for many years. Since she retired, we have not been able to access medical services through the clinic under Dr. Gordon’s care. Wait times to see any doctor at the clinic are months in advance. In all honesty, I have no confidence in the clinic’s ability to handle our or others medical concerns/situations. They are very poorly equipped to handle their patient volumes and someone from the College of Physicians should step in before someone’s health is gravely mismanaged. We will be looking for a new family doctor and accessing walk-in-clinic medical services. Places like this burden the system even more and should be held accountable for their inability to manage patient care effectively.UPDATE: our young family of four was informed by letter last week that Dr. Gordon would not be able to act as our family physician after October. She notes that her practice will focus on seniors. Less than a year after Dr. Holman retired - this is completely unacceptable and very short sighted. Like others have noted, the responsibility has been completely download on the patients, as well as the financial consequences of transferring medical records. Very disappointed in this medical group inability to advocate for their patients, especially during a global pandemic/ when people are struggling medically (particularly with serious mental health concerns and economically). There are a number of new doctors at the practice. I cannot understand why the medical group couldn’t have approached these doctors to assist with this situation. The letter stipulates to not to contact the office with questions or concerns. So very disappointed.

Dr. Laura Gordon is a very caring and loyal doctor. I have been dealing with the same health issue for almost a year and she has been with me every step of the way, always advocating for me. The team has been wonderful as well. Thanks! :)

I have been a patient at this clinic for 25 years under the care of Dr. Holman who was amazing. Unfortunately Dr. Holman retired and her replacement Dr. Laura Gordon seemed quite nice and I was excited about building a new relationship. This summer I have received a letter from Dr Gordon indicating that she wanted to focus on seniors and that my family and I would have to find a new home doctor in 2 months. This was so sudden!! The worst part is if we want to obtain our medical records we would have to pay to get them from medrecords - the cost ranging from $37.50 to $85.95 per record for our family this cost would be $150 to $343.80 just so that our medical records can be transferred over to the next physician if we are ever able to get one! I’ve never requested to leave the clinic and to put the cost of medical records retrieval or transfer on the patient is not acceptable.I’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer and need to have a home doctor to assist with the care and coordination. I’m utterly disappointed and very upset that the clinic and Dr. Gordon would not offer any alternatives or review case by case being “discarded” due to my family’s age is not acceptable. I’m appalled at the way in which we were treated.

I am disappointed with the stuff cause they do not their jobs.In special for refills to fax to the pharmacy. Here is it - Dr. Gordon went since March out of her doctor lease and she didn't know that all the meds she signed for are know not refilling no more.So I had for 4 days two of meds missing because of that. The fact is the pharmacy did a great job, But the stuff in the office didn't do their job at all!I had to go their to show then the copies of the pharmacy and she lies in my face that she did yesterday!I had known that cause of the talks I had with pharmacy !In the end she faxed it again and I am asked for the copy from her.The fact that this same thing happened all the time for refills.I considering to change Doctor soon!
