Beautiful place to take your young children for an alternative education! The team at greenbelt are passionate, professional, loving, caring, and amazing at their job!Our two children had so much fun attending Greenbelt for an outdoor education. Everyday coming home and teaching us about squirrels tunnel systems, different types of trees, the mudslide. Way too much to mention.A nutrition program as well full of delicious food our kids loved!Would recommend to anyone!

Greenbelt Academy has so much potential and could be a fantastic program. What makes it are most of the ECEs (that used to be there) Though if inquiring about the daycare, I encourage you to ask about their staff turnover rate. How many staff have left in the past year? How are their staff treated? All with equal pay and treatment? This speaks a lot of volume about the management. Do they actually report serious incidents about your child? Research their reports with public health and ask about their inclusiveness surrounding those with exceptionalities. Do they hire qualified staff with background and experience to work with children with disabilities? Is their building accessible to everyone? Any security/locked doors in place for the safety of your chilren? Do they have a diverse number of children attending? Can this be seen in the classroom environments? Have many children been pulled from their program in the last several months? What were their reasons? What is their policy surrounding typical developmental behaviour if your child does something? (Pushing, pinching, biting) Will they kick them out? Do they actually go by order for wait lists? It is sad how wonderful this place is, and how it appears through photos. But how is it actually run?I encourage other parents who used to have their children here to please review the place.1 star.

My kids love it here. They attend summer camp and PA day Fridays and they are always so excited to be going in the morning and muddy and happy by the end of the day. The staff is fantastic, and we will be continuing to come as long as we can.
