We hired HBS to finish our basement and we are very pleased with how it turned out. John and his team did an excellent job and they were great to work with!Glenn was open and honest with us about our project from the start. He came to the house to take measurements and provide us with a proper quote and his price was fair and reasonable. (Other companies only provided rough quote by phone)This project also included replacement of our powder room and entrance porcelain tile that we added on partway through the project.My wife and I are both architects and can be fairly particular with the aesthetics. There were a few items that we wanted to change along the way and John was able to work with us to make sure we were happy with the outcome. For example, originally, we planned a wood railing/pickets, however we did not like how the detail of the pickets was going to intersect the ceiling. John was able to provide us a few options and we were able to change to a heavier looking railing with metal pickets, which was definitely a better choice!HBS and team have great communication. I was always kept apprised of the schedule and when various trades would be working on the basement. Additionally, John was always available to discuss the project at every step.All of our floors were protected while they were working and the work site was left very clean at the end of every day. They also did a great job of controlling the dust during the entire project.We would definitely recommend HBS and will be giving them a call for our next project!

Amazing work. All of the guys were great. For such a young company to see the honest and open communication from John and Glenn was great.And the attention to detail in their work is absolutely top notch. When looking at home renovations it’s always easy to tell when something is done quick and dirty and when it is done right. The job that HBS did for us is BEYOND right. I’m still in shock about how good our floors look. And we can’t wait to paint the drywall repairs that they completed for us to help keep our basement warm.I know the next time we need work done on our house (and if you guys are reading this, there will be a next time) I know we will be reaching out to HBS.

John, Glenn and the crew were very professional and did awesome work. They definitely reduced the stress of repairing damage from a leaky pipe in our basement! They were willing to work with us to produce a good a result within our budget. Highly recommend!

John and Glenn helped renovate my basement and added a lot of useable space for my family and I to use. They took down one wall and added another to create 2 large fully finished bedrooms. They also worked with an electrician and plumber to add a 2nd bathroom that looks great and adds value. Thanks for all the help!
