Very cool place to come camping with scouters! Too bad it's private!

We camped here with a family group camp and had a great time. Facilities are well-maintained, the cabins and bunks are in great condition and the environment is so peaceful. Excellent camping experience for large groups!

I was at this camp in the capacity as cook and an instructor of sorts for a group of young, visually challenged people and their guides here.They rented the facility from the Scouts and I found the place and the single staff member to be excellent and helpful.It is a bit out of the way, but that is to be understood as this is not meant to be an all inclusive resort but a place set in the middle of nature so people who don't live in places like this can experience it.Being busy setting up and organizing the cooking and teaching, I did not get to see the outlying camping areas, but the building and area around it were quite clean and well stocked with tables, chairs and most of the needed equipment we needed to make the 4 day. Lots of cabins for people who don't want to set up tents and lots of grassy areas for those who do.The cooking facilities were more than needed for our group of 45 or so people, for both preping, cooking and instructing the up to 15 people who were in the kitchen area. The camp manager was available to answer questions and help people find the tools they needed.

we are camping here for the first time, does anyone know if the cabins have electric outlets inside the cabins?

Recently the camp ranger has changed, but have been going to this campsite for many years. Love it still for it's amenities.The tarp added recently above the campfires is nice for rainy days, but can cause a build-up of smoke. I'd advise propping up the tarp with large poles or sticks.
