We hired Nor Star to replace our gutters three years ago and immediately after the finished the gutters sagged and were not slopped correctly. I reported the issue and it took them a year to come out to correct the issue. Most of the gutters came down this past winter and this was due to them using 2 screws and no gutter hangers. The lack of gutter hangers also explains why the gutters sagged from day one."

Disappointing service! Had total roof replaced and within a year the eaves are sagging and draining above an entrance. Called customer service 8-10 times and still haven't had anyone attend to fix the issue. Jody keeps making promises with no action. Very poor customer service.

I went in to purchase some soffit for a shed I was building and I was extremely impressed with how friendly everyone is. Amazing customer service. Highly recommended and are definitely my first choice for future projects 10/10

They replaced our shingles with a metal roof. The scope of work included removing and disposing of the old shingles, adding framing and rigid foam insulation and the metal roof and flashing as well as removing a chimney pipe and replacing this part of the roof decking where the old chimney had been. We noticed a huge difference in the comfort of the cottage after this work was done. Quality products and installation. Pricing was competitive with other quotes we received. I waited a year and a half to post this as I wanted to go through all seasons to ensure a quality job. If a low pitch roof didn't leak after last winter's snow load and freeze/thaw cycles, it's not going to!Roofing and many outside jobs are weather dependent. We were delayed a few weeks and that didn't surprise me based on the weather. If there was one thing that Nor Star could improve it would be to be a bit more proactive with client communication on scheduling. Nonetheless, when I needed information they were very responsive to my calls or emails.Would recommend and I will call them when I need siding.

Have asked for a quote to have a roof done several times in the past 4 months. While I have it in writing that someone would be in touch, that was a month ago and I have heard nothing from them. Very disappointed.

I purchased Weatherwall EZbreeze windows through Nor Star. They were very helpful and responsive. Product was delivered on time and we are satisfied.

After being told they would be there on a certain day to give us a quote. Never heard from them. Called them they said we were on the top of list promised to be there on the Monday once again didn't show, we called again. and were tolded we would have a quote by 5PM, never showed or called. We have called a few more times told the same thing and have never heard from them yet. Needless to say we hired a real roofing company.

Very friendly and responsive service. I needed additional smartside" siding to match that which we got in 2008. Ryan sourced it in Ontario and had it ready for pick-up in about a week. They sawed the 16' boards into rough sizes 5' 3 " for my trailer...very helpful. Nice clean showroom if you drop by to look over possibilities."

Nor Star is great at installing, but as soon as you have a problem, they practically ignore you. Promise to call back or email etc. But don’t. We finally gave up and went elsewhere
