Was able to get a short tour from a couple of the ladies we met when we came to see if they were open. They were so nice to my daughter and I who were visiting from Port Angeles, WA. We were pleased to see how beautiful this Synagogue is. It is the oldest Synagogue in Canada. It is lovely and well taken care by the congregation that meets here. Really worth a visit if you are Jewish or not, it is very interesting even if only from a historical view.

Beautiful and welcoming space that celebrated its 150th anniversary not too long ago. Lots of history & a wonderful congregation! Activities welcome people of all denominations and faiths, including a theatre group.

looks impressive from the outside. I wanted to take a tour inside , but their reception hours are only tuesday to thursday and on very specific hours... what a shame
