My total experience with Fairstone was horrible. I will never go with them. Their customer service is not good

I originally took out a small loan because of my pet passing away and bills still had to be paid. 2 months later I had car troubles that had to be fixed and enquired on renewing my loan with a larger amount. I spoke with Tammy at 300 Taunton Rd. E. and she was able to assist me immediately. She was very courteous and it didn't take long to get through the paper work. You guys are the best!

Kadie was totally AWESOME! She was consistent, professional, thorough, timely and effective. I had a very successful customer experience with Kadie.

I went to Fairstone for a loan to help with building my credit and Tammy was awesome. Very knowledgeable and extremely focused on doing her job to the best of her ability. I would definitely recommend going to Fairstone and asking to speak with Tammy regarding loan options that best fit your needs.

Absolutely kind and professional folks working here. PARTH PATEL was helpful to me from strat to finish, what a great guy. Also I have to mention TAMMY , she was kind and pleasant and helpful and came along to help.. Thank u guys for helping with my approval and setting things up for me last minute. I'm grateful to you all .

My experience with this Fairstone branch has been absolutely horrible. I applied for a loan during desperate times and was convinced to add on the insurance and told I could cancel it at any time. They failed to tell me that to cancel the insurance I need to sign a form in person. Due to covid I have been told that I need an appointment to come in but they won’t give me one. Everytime I call either it goes to voicemail or I am told that I need to speak with Katrina to book the appointment and that she will call me back. I never get a call back and the man I speak to refuses to give me an appointment. Funny thing is, once I missed a payment they had no problem calling me. I told them I wanted to cancel the insurance and was basically told that I should keep it and use it right now as I had missed my payment due to being off work. I was told she would send me the paperwork, which I never received. I made a payment that same day and was told that my scheduled biweekly payments would have ended after my missed payment and I would have my next payment due June 16. Well.. come time for my payment and nobody answers the phone yet again and online says I have an overdue payment but won’t let me pay it because I have scheduled payments… which I clearly don’t. Because it would have come out already. I am so beyond frustrated with Fairstone and would never recommend them at this point. This loan put me in a worse situation financially then when I went into it.

I have been a customer for years having multiple loans and second mortgage but this last experience was horrible and I will never do business again with Fairstone and will tell all my family and friends to stay away! I paid off my loan according to the online acct ! 2 days later checked it again and there was still balance which I paid again ! Then recv phone calls and spoke to 2 different people who then told he I still owed money which I paid again ! Then recv another call that I still owed $1.86 because there was interest due to me paying online banking ? No one told me that and they wanted me to drive there to pay it lol?they would not wave it after all my business so I paid $5 online and that will be it ! If they treat their loyal customers like that I don’t need there business bye bye !

I'm not sure how to spell his name but my loan rep Perth or garth was incredible he was patient and kind and very helpful and he got me a loan before Christmas that saved my Christmas and I can't thank him enough

I recently enjoyed the best services at a Fairstone branch located on Taunton Rd and Ritson, Oshawa. First, all the staff were friendly, welcoming and supportive. I have no regret for choosing this institution for services that I need today and I will forever be grateful to Tammy for her patience, her professionalism and her ability to showcasing with great detail the aspects of the services that I was looking for at Fairstone. Week done Tammy!!!Second, I would like to encourage everyone to stop by this location and speak with a financial specialist about your needs.Lastly, I had the opportunity to cross path with Fairstone through Ashley furniture, in my opinion this partnership is working well.
