I went two times and had two different experiences. The first time, service was great and so was the food. The second time, I waited a couple of minutes until I was greeted and seated. The food did not taste as good as the first time. The soup was served way too hot. All in all, I'd recommend it, especially beef shawarma.

We ordered a mixed grill platter. It consists of grilled skewers bbq beef, bbq chicken, shish tawouk, pita bread and 2 types of sauce and it came with rice. The bread was really soft & good. We went 2 families together and the place was crowded, couldn’t get any combine place to seat together. So we decided to sit separately. But i was quite disappointed with a staff’s behavior. There was only 1 table left with 4 siting places and we were a couple with a toddler. And the staff was saying we cant sit in a 4 table space as we are two people only. This was funny as he didn’t count our toddler as another person. Not sure why he said like that as later i noticed 2 people were sitting in 4 sitting places. Apart from this behavior the food was good. They have washroom’s available too with diaper changing place as well.

First time visiting this location, and when it comes to their drinks we ordered the Paramount Special since it seemed very appetizing at first but wasn’t actually worth $15. Imagine spending just $45 on juice… We ordered the mezza plate which was very good. For entrees, we got Saj Tabliyeh Beef, Mixed Grill and Mixed Shawarma. When it comes to the Mixed Grill, we did have to send it back twice because the meat was still bloody, almost raw and we noticed when having the plate returned the first time, the meat was cooked but there was blood on the pita bread so we asked to change that as well. (No one really wants to eat bloody bread) Otherwise everything tasted fine. When it comes to the Mixed Shawarma, it was a very basic and plain dish. Unfortunately, the meat was just small cuts that were hard and burnt. Wish they were more mindful with what exactly they are serving to people.

TLDR; dips are good, meat temperature is cold and flavour is bland. Come only if you want an overpriced, cold, flavourless meal. 2 stars only because of the muttabal dip.Paramount has clearly seen a decline in quality over the years. Before walking in, I checked the reviews and saw many people mention that this location was not as good as the Yonge/Dundas location. This is 100% true.I arrived around 11:30 close to opening, hoping for fresh, hot shawarma. Instead I got cold, flavourless chicken on a bed of bland rice, with a side of cold roasted tomato and onion. I had to send it back and the second dish still had the cold vegetables and Lukewarm chicken. It became clear to me that my meal was NOT cooked fresh - and wouldn’t be even after I flagged it to the staff. The best part of the dish was the pre-made garlic sauce. Sad.I also ordered a side of muttabal and pita. The muttabal was good however! All in, disappointing and will not be returning.I paid 42$ for a mediocre shawarma plate and a dip. I wish I spent my money literally anywhere else.

When a taste bud needs something to eat then everyone should try middle eastern cuisine. So far I have found that serving good quality foods maintains a good atmosphere along with its service. Will be visiting soon again here or different brunch to try different menus.Thank you

I enjoyed the food here. In my opinion, there could have been a tad more flavor to the meat, but everything was served fresh and well prepared. The restaurant is beautiful. It was hard to get the server's attention at times. Overall, I recommend this place.

Disappointed by both of the food and the service. The white sauce got mixed grill was so disappointing and the worst I have tried so far among the other Middle East restaurant and even grocery places like Adonis. Lamb was dry, rice and sauce were both so so. Hummus with beef was okay, acceptable at least. Salad was disappointing as well, both of the dressing and freshness of salad itself. Bread was the best out of the dishes I think, served in fresh :) It’s not easy to get staff’s attention and get served as well :)

The food was great as were their other branches. We ordered a couple of cuisines and all of us were satisfied with their quality. However, the portion could be still larger. We brought our birthday cake to celebrate my friend's birthday. They were really helpful in organizing it and making it a surprise for her. Special thanks to Sitra, who kindly served us and addressed all of our requests.

Happened to stumble upon this restaurant while walking around Yorkville and decided to try; and what a great idea this was!The chicken shawarma I had was delicious and the portion was generous. Prices were very reasonable considering the amount and quality of the food. I will definitely go back the next time I am in Toronto!

Great downtown location and sitting in the front get to do a lot of people watching. Modern but middle eastern inspired decor and architecture. Variety of shawarma and ‘North American’ foods if you’re not too familiar or extreme with middle eastern cuisine. Can spend $20 and be full or $200 for high end dinner.Only complaint is the service was not great. Slow, and inconsistent. Maybe were short staffed? But overall, was a great experience!
